II. Propsito del Puesto: Plans, manages and directs the maintenance function for the finishing plant to obtain maximum profitability. Including: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and PM compliance Management. Insure the efficient on time operation of all machinery and equipment to provide with insurance to our entire internal and external customer, to supervise compliance of all maintenance activities for productive equipment, maintenance activities for the Facility, insuring the correct operation and physical integrity of equipment and personnel.

IV. Responsabilidades: To develop, implement and audit the preventive, predictive and corrective programs for both productive and non productive equipments. To assign and to insure compliance to all preventive maintenance activities assigned to his personnel to insure the correct operation of equipment and/or machinery. To insure compliance of all activities described in the PM system and breakdown detail. Implement statistical analysis of all preventive and corrective maintenance activities. To insure the supply of spare parts and tools insure on time delivery. Insure the compliance, follow up and audit of the preventive maintenance program. Implement statistical maintenance cost control and budget control. Develop, implement computer maintenance management program. Insure the continuity of the process by attending service calls. Analyze all service calls trough a statistical process including maintenance time to respond and time to repair metrics. Develop and implement a problem solving program to reduce down time. Personnel administration.

V. Escolaridad:

To assign maintenance activities according to necessities and personnel abilities. Develop personnel skills according to established program in HR and develop required training plans. Control of worked hours, over time, absenteeism, incidents, accidents, shift changes. Administration of contractors personnel and complies with rules and norms. Inspection list for housekeeping and order in maintenance areas. Insure work with safety and health environment. Improve operations availability trough quick response and resolution. Is responsible for delivering results in assigned metrics and for develop plan to significant improve assigned metrics. Maintain forma WPO system for maintenance area. Ability to perform the requirements for this position as described above. Ability to be mobile through all plant locations and areas. Ability to travel by car and by plan. Ability to speak, read, and write in English and Spanish. Must be able to operate various machinery including telephones, calculators, video equipment, and computers. Proficient with computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Project and PM system.

B.S. degree or equivalent in Industrial /Mechanical/Electrical Engineer and 5 year experience as Maintenance Manager preferred. Understanding of PM programs. Analysis of equipment failures. Understanding of Lean MFG principles.

VI. Conocimientos tcnicos especficos: Refer to the specific Task Hazard Analysis of this position for further Safety Requirements. Mechanical and safety training to assist in prescribing protective equipment for all employee and assist in ensuring legal safety compliance for all plant manufacturing activities. Haz-mat system knowledge required. Haz recognition, lockout, Tag out, fall prevention.

VII. Competencias (Habilidades de Desempeo): Ability to manage staff in a Maintenance department. This includes the ability to delegate, and resolve conflicts at all levels. Ability to make decisions with high degree of self-confidence, drive, energy, and assertiveness. Ability to take initiative, be assertive, and have a high degree of honesty. Specific legal knowledge of all applicable federal, state and local laws. Supervisory skills in employee counseling and performance management.
