SECTION 7 CONTROL USER GUIDE


1.1 USER MANUAL

This manual can help you to start, get know and using with Pegasus to operate Trend Building Automation System, that you can use it quickly and easily. Pegasus is a graphical user interface for the Trend Building Automation System, which runs on Windows XP, Windows NT, Windows 98 or Windows 2000. Before you begin the application, there are a few things you need to do. 1.11 Basic Operational Instructions

1. First, start the BiSys server by clicking on the icon on the Windows Desktop labeled BiSys. 2. After the BiSys server is started and initialized, click on the Pegasus icon on the Windows Desktop to launch the application.

3. Once the Pegasus is launched, the login screen like the image above will be displayed. Choose the appropriate profile and then enter your username and password to gain access to Pegasus.

4. The first page being displayed in Pegasus should be the aerial picture of the Pusat Komersil Rantau Petronas ground floor plan. If nothing is displayed go to the Design Explorer (on the right hand side of the user interface by default), open 11_Floor Plan folder find and double click 11_01_GRND FLOOR.

Click Logo to go to main map.

Click on the desired equipment view its status.

a) Normally the mode display will set to , Under Time Schdule means the unit will run by time schedule. To change, just click the button and the following dialogue will appear. Click Ok to continue. Figure 1.8 Operator Control 1.14 SETPOINT The following points had setpoint to control the valve a) Chiller Cut-in Cut-out Setpoint If the chilled water supply temperature lower than the setpoint, then the second chiller will stop running. b) AHU setpoint or Room Temperature Setpoint If the return air temperature higher than the setpoint, the AHUs chilled water valve will open. If the return air temperature lower than setpoint, the AHUs chilled water valve will close. c) VAV setpoint or Room Temperature Setpoint If the room temperature higher than the setpoint, the damper will open. If the room temperature lower than setpoint, the damper will close.

To set the setpoint, click the setpoint value (See Figure 1.8), after the setpoint dialogue appear, you can type in the setpoint or click and turn the volumn button to adjust the setpoint value. (See Figure 1.9)

Just click the setpoint value to go to setpoint dialogue
