Executive Summary of the project


Public relations (PR) is the practice of managing the flow of information between an individual or an organization and the public. Public relations may include an organization or individual gaining exposure to their audiences using topics of public interest and news items that do not require direct payment. The aim of public relations by a company often is to persuade the public, investors, partners, employees, and other stakeholders to maintain a certain point of view about it, its leadership, products, or of political decisions. In this projects, I have considered various aspects Public relations and its activities which will show us the importance of public relations in an corporate sector as well as in the raising the awareness about through marketing .

I have discussed following points through my project:

1) In this project, I am providing insights of Public relations, Modern Public relations, Opportunities and Trends in Public Relations, Challenges Methods, Tools, and Tactics of PR, Top PR Strategies and offline/ online PR, Surprising PR strategies that made a splash. 2) In order to get practical insights of Public relations, I joined Nirmala consol private limited for 2 months to work on various issues related to PR on a practical basis. I was working on Brightwayz i.e. one of their educational product. I was working on their website, Social media marketing elements like Facebook page. I did analysis of mentioned medium of PR, their expenses on relative media and respective reach.

3) In this project, I have also discussed the major issues related to PR, advantages and disadvantages of PR as a marketing tool.
