THE KINDERGARTEN SABBATH SCHOOL CLASS provided school supplies & healthy snacks for homeless children at the City Rescue Mission last Sabbath. Special thanks to Diane Dowell & her Sabbath School Class! Acts of kindness learned in childhood carry through to adult life. Parents can help by involving their children in church outreach activities. The IMPACT MINISTRY SERVICE SCHEDULE for September is posted on the bulletin board near the restrooms. What I like about GLAS I like GLAS because it is a small school, I know everyone and I dont have to wait for a bus in the mornings. THE LANSING LIGHTNING BUGS club will be starting up again for the year! Our Adventurer club is for parents and children ages 4 through 4th grade. Come join us this year for songs, crafts, games, activities and learning about the bible. We will be meeting on various Sabbath afternoons and Sunday mornings throughout the year. PATHFINDER POTLUCK & REGISTRATION There will be a Pathfinder potluck & registration meeting immediately following the worship service on September 7. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall for lunch and then move into our registration meeting at 2pm. A parent is required to accompany their child to this meeting.
