1. Teacher shows a video clip Where is it?. Set induction ( 5 minutes) Activating prior knowledge 2. Teacher asks pupils what they see in the video, and list out 3 prepositions in the video. To ensure that pupils are ready for the lesson. Video clip
1. Teacher writes 6 types of prepositions on whiteboard. 2. Teacher pronounces the prepositions, follow by pupils. 3. Teacher shows pupils a box and asks pupils to guess what is in it. 4. Pupils are each given a fish flashcard and a box flashcard. 5. Teacher uses the fish and the box to teach pupils the selected prepositions. 6. Pupils follow teachers actions.
Prepositions: 1. The fish is in the box. 2. The fish is on the box. 3. The fish is under the box. 4. The fish is behind the box. 5. The fish is next to the box. 6. The fish is between the box and the pencil case. (Asks pupils to use their own pencil case)
7. Teacher says the sentences and pupils will show where the fish is.
1. Teacher distributes a text to pupils. (Echo chant) 2. Teacher drills pupils with action using fish flashcard. Pupils repeat after teacher
Call and Response chant using the same words, example: Where is it? (Refer to Appendix 5) Practice ( 20 minutes)

6. Pupils draw an object in each picture based on teachers instruction. 7. Pupils fill in the blanks in the task sheet.

1. Teacher chooses pupils randomly to answer questions. 2. Teacher advises pupils to be careful not to jump on the chair or they will fall off. 3. Pupils sing the song again.
