ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:

First and for most I would like thank SREEVEE BUSINESS SCHOOL and its professors for making me to realize how the corporate world would react to the job seekers in the present competing world. Because things seems to be easier when it comes to us, but we dont receive them in the same way when we go in search of them. I am also thankful Mr. A.ARASENDRAN (PROPRIETOR MAAS BLUE METALS & CONTRACTORS) who has given me the opportunity to do my internship in his firm. He is a man of kind and gentleness who has accepted my offer for internship interestingly and has provided me with required information and support as and when required.

INTRODUCTION:

To start off, first let me explain about what the product they produce because very few are aware of what a BLUE METAL is..? In a brief, its a method of blasting boulders i.e... (Rocks) from mountain and crush them into verity of small metals i.e... (Stones) and then use them for sale. They are mainly used for construction of Roads, Dams, Buildings, Airports, mostly for all construction purpose. ABOUT THE FIRM:

incorporated by Mr. A. Arasendran in the year 1998 as a small scale sole proprietorship firm. Initially they entered into the business just as a producer of blue metals (which is nothing but crushed stones). But, during the past twelve years their growth has become unremarkable. They have grown five times bigger than how they were in the beginning stage. Due to their quality and service they have become the best in their class of product and have attained a reputed goodwill among their customers for their service. Maas Blue Metals is Theni based firm which deals with Quarry and Crushing operations according to the needs of the market. It is 0ne of the leading entrepreneur associated with diversified business

segments such as Estates, Farms, Agricultural Sector, Quarry and Crushing operations and Contracts. Now they also deal with contract works and government tenders, this act as a big support and credit towards the company

OBJECTIVE OF THE INTERNSHIP: Designation provided to me Production & manager in Crusher. My primary objective was to have a clear and detailed knowledge of the entire Crushing process of the firm. The task assigned by the firm for me is to calculate and achieve targeted production accordingly. Then to understand what production method they follow. Production analysis. Understand and study about the labor situation.

Process of production involved: Raw material: Final stage of quarry is primary stage of crushing. The raw materials were taken from quarry. The size of raw material 500-600mm. boulder is unloaded in tipper to bunker.

Jaw crusher: Next stage of crushing jaw crusher. It is primary stage. Materials are crushing from to conveyer output material 150200mm. Then the roble (100mm rock) is sent to the secondary machine

small Vibrator: After crushing stage material are vibrating .that material dividing two product. 40mm Dust

Production process

Cone crusher: After jaw crusher stage material were taken from jaw crusher Material mixing in cone .then conveyer belt via into big vibrator. Those robles which are sent from the jaw crusher is crushed and sent to a vibratory (a separator) it is this place where the important process takes place that is the separation of different products takes place on the basis of their sizes. Like 40mm, 12mm, 6mm, and dust. These aggregates are then to the final stage to another machine

VERTICAL SHAFT IMPACT (VSI): This is the final stage where in only a slight modification is done the end products from the cone crusher is sent into the VSI. It just fines those aggregates and brings the end products into fine shapes. This is nothing but a stage for quality improvement.

CONCLUSION
This is one the product which has no expiry and cannot get destroyed in any climatic conditions. In the same this firm has a very wide area to expand and prolong for many years.
