INTRODUCTION

First of all thank you for your purchase of the Felix 1.5 3d printer. Please follow this manual carefully in order to properly prepare your printer for printing.

REQUIRED TOOLS TO FINALIZE THE ASSEMBLY

To finalize the assembly e the following tools are required

Allen key size: 2.5mm 3mm 5mm

OPENING THE BOX

WARNING: DO NOT MOVE ANY of the axis at a high speed by hand. The motors can generate power that way and potentially burn out the electronics. Open the box from the topside. Thats where the shipping labels are positioned. Start removing the chips, untill the table and frame are exposed

Lift out the frame including table. WATCH OUT: The table is attached with wires to the frame of the printer!!

Put the printer on the wide beam like indicated below. Remove the bubble wrap paper from the table.

Place the table assembly on the z-axis fork according to the picture. Be careful with the table that you dont exert too much force on the plate. Mount the table with the 4 supplied m3x16 bolts.

PLACE THE LOOSE BEAM ONTO THE REST OF THE FRAME

Slide beam on frame on the frame bolts

Look at orientation of two holes Also look at the dampening feet

2 holes are located here

Look at orientation of small hole

Put the beam in position. So that the holes are aligned in a way you can tighten the frame bolts. See pictures below.

When tightening make sure the beams in question are aligned properly. See picture below.

PLACE BELT ON Y-AXIS.

Guide the belt as indicated in the picture below.

On the side with the opto-sensor switching vane. Put some tension on the belt by hand and push it in place in place.

With an allen key put some tension on the belt, by turning the belt clockwise.

It should feel firmly.

FINISHING TOUCH.

Get the end-cap and put it in place.
