FAITH, FAITHFULLNESS AND FRUITHFULNESS

Faith is believing in God, trusting, acting upon and obeying it is word a life of faith is required to
work with God and without faith it is impossible to please God. Faithfulness is an attribute of loyalty, steadfastness, truthfulness and trustworthiness. Faithfulness is the attribute of God, faithfulness in man is a product of faith in God, faithfulness is required for fruithfulness in life, ministry and other aspects of life. Brethren, fellow workers in God household we are called to a life of absolute faith in God, we are required to be faithful in living and service to God, so that we can be fruitful in life and ministry, Ps 92:12-14. 1. FAITH REQUIRED TO WALK WITH GOD Heb. 11:6, Mark 11;23-24, Matt. 21:21-22, John 14: 1 Faith is trusting in God and His word, it is the only life style acceptable to God, the life of faith will accomplished the impossible, and without faith it is impossible to pleased God. We are saved by faith, Eph. 2:8. Sanctified and baptized with the Holy Ghost by faith, we receive all blessing from God by faith, Gal. 3:2. God commanded us to live by faith (Heb. 10:38, Luke 18:8), Pray in faith, walk by faith, received healing, miracles and breakthrough by faith, Matt. 9:22 ,we are to render our service of faith Phil. 2:17, fight the good fight of faith, I Tim. 6:12, Jude. 3. We should have expectations of faith in our ministry of soul winning because God has promise to save repentant sinners, who believes on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation( Rom. 1:16). Faith comes, grows and do exploits by believing and obeying the word of God. Rom. 10:17.

2. FAITHFULNESS IN LIFE AND SERVICES Luke 19:12-17, I Corth. 4:1-2, 17, Heb. 3:1-2, 5, II Chro.34:10-12. Faithfulness is being faithful, steadfast, trustworthy, truthfully committed to someone, a course or something. Faithfulness is one of the attribute of God, He is faithful to fulfilling all His promises, Ps. 36:5, I Corth. 12:13, Deut. 7:9, Heb. 6:17-18. Jesus Christ the son of God is a perfect example of Faithfulness, He exhibited faithfulness while on earth. Heb. 3:1-2, Heb. 2:17; 10:23. God requires all His children to be faithful, Moses was faithful in all His house, Num. 12:7, Paul, Timothy indeed all the early disciples of Christ were faith men and women. No wonder they were very successful in walk with God and in soul winning evangelism. All believer in Christ are required to be faithful in every area of life and ministry; in marriage, stewardship, ministry, Business, above all in walk with God, and in the ministry of soul winning. (I Corinth. 4:1-2) There are great rewards for faithfulness (Matt 24:45-47, 50-51; Luke 19:17), likewise there are great punishment for unfaithfulness. 3. FRUITFULNESS IN LIFE AND MINISTRY Ps. 1:3, 92:12-14, John 15:5, 16, Matt. 13:23 Faithfulness leads to fruitfulness. Believers are to bear fruits of repentace (Matt. 3:8), fruit of righteousness( phil. 1:11), fruit of the spirit (Gal. 5:22), fruit of good works and godliness (Colo. 1:10), fruit of soul winning (John 15:16, Roman 7:4). we cannot bear fruits if we are not faithful towards God and his will. In order to bear fruit, we need to: a) Be attached to the vine (Jesus Christ) John 15:4 b) Be in contact with the living water Psalm 1:3 c) Be spiritually receptive to the spirit and the word of God Mathew 13:28 d) Be dead to self life. John 12:34 e) Obey the Lords commands Psalm 1:3, I Peter 2:2 There are many promises of God attached to faithfulness; we Shall be fruitful; in business, in marriage-the fruit of the womb, in wealth and health, fruitful in life and ministry even in old age.
