Project synopsis
Project title:
Transmission & distribution of electrical power (Non-working model).

Team details:
Total team strength: 5 Total number of modules: 3

The team would be divided to work on each module. Each of the team members will play separate roles during the development of their modules. They would acts as leads, team members and QA person for different sections of the module. Once they code their modules they will be responsible as a team in performing integration with other modules developed in parallel by other teams. After the integration is performed successfully the complete team as a whole would be responsible for developing the system Grid Power station.

Aim:
It would provide full functionality that is required in good development of Grid Power station who can we create a Grid Power station. Presenting the model of Grid Power station for future up-coming electrical engg. to develop their vision towards the power system & to maintain the interest in this area.

Module Introduction (Tower Designing)

The function of line support is obviously to support the conductor. Line must be capable of carrying the load due to insulators & conductors including ice & wind load on the support itself. The line supports are various type including wood, steel & reinforced concrete poles & steel towers either of the rigid or flexible type. Different type of towers. Tower used in transmission line. Difference between single circuit line & double circuit line.

Module introduction (Control room & relays)

A control room is serving as an operations centre where a facility or service can be monitored & controlled. A relay is an electrically operated switch. Many relays use an electro-magnet to operate a switching mechanism mechanically, but other operating principals are also used. Relays are used where it is necessary to control a circuit. Working as control room. Maintenance. Relay operations. LDC (Load Distribution Centre).

Module introduction (Transmission line)

An overhead line consists of a group of conductors running to each other & carried on supports which provide insulation between different conductors & between each conductors & earth. Line parameters. Bundle conductors. Load flow analysis. Cables & material used.
