EMED has been present in the market since 1995.
From the beginning, we have operated
in the medical segment electrosurgery is our
domain. Starting from a single model of surgical
diathermy which entered into production
in 1997, we gradually extended our offer.

System)

OPERATION MODES

Argon standard and pulse coagulation

It is used in gastroenterology to block haemorrhaging.
Pulse operation enables more precision in terms
of dosage and aiming at the bleeding area.

Polypectomy and papillotomy

- special cutting modes necessary to remove polyps
and the procedure of papillotomy.
Alternating cutting and coagulation enables achieving
an optimal coagulation for this application
and reduces the probability of bleeding.
Cutting in an aqueous environment
This mode is used in a difficult (aqueous)
environment. It is usually applied in urology
and arthroscopy.

Bipolar cutting in an aqueous environment.

It is used for special bipolar forceps with two
cutting loops that work in the environment
of physiological salt.

Bipolar cutting
The mode used to cut tissues with the help
of bipolar current. Special bipolar tools are used
for this purpose. This mode is particularly
recommended for procedures performed
on babies and patients with pace makers.

Bipolar cutting with increased control

of bleeding.
The mode used to cut tissues with the help of bipolar
current. It is required when there is a need to control
bleeding more intensively already while cutting.
An increased level of haemostasis is more effective
in terms of controlling bleeding, but it also affects the
tissue thermally more.

Precise cutting
It is used to cut small and precise structures.
Weaker current enables increased precision
of the cut.

Pure cutting
Cutting with a minimum level of haemostasis. It is used
to cut tissues when there is no need to control excessive
bleeding. This type of cut is the safest for the tissue.

Cutting with haemostasis

Cutting with an increased level of haemostasis.
It is required when there is a need to control bleeding
more intensively already while cutting. An increased level
of haemostasis is more effective in terms of controlling
bleeding, but it also affects the tissue thermally more.

Cutting with desiccation

Alternating cutting and soft coagulation enables cutting
tissues that bleed heavily and minimize the bleeding.
OPERATION MODES

ThermoStapler®
A special type of current that enables closing large
blood vessels and preparing tissue bundles before
cutting. It eliminates the need to use traditional
staplers and tying up. This mode is particularly
helpful for organ and cancerous tumour resection.
It requires the use of special tools.

Bipolar coagulation
In this mode, the current flows between
the electrode tips and there is no need
to apply the neutral electrode.
A typical application is closing medium
size blood vessels.
Spray coagulation
Contact-free coagulation enabling quick and effective
coagulation of larger surfaces. It eliminates the effect
of tissue adhering to the tool.

Argon coagulation
A mode used for contact-free coagulation of surfaces.
It eliminates smoke and smell. It ensures very shallow
and mild coagulation. It is necessary when there is a risk
of perforation. It is used in classical surgery as universal
coagulation, in laparoscopy to coagulate niches after
resections, in gastroenterology to block haemorrhaging.

Argon enhanced cutting

An argon shield reduces the quantity of smoke and smell.
It also enables the reduction of thermal damage to the
tissue and more effective control of the bleeding.
This function is particularly desired for procedures
requiring intense use of diathermy.

Forced coagulation II (universal)

Combines the benefits of forced coagulation and spray
coagulation. Enables quick coagulation of tissues using
contact, as well a contact-free coagulation of surfaces.
It eliminates the necessity of changing the operation
mode during the procedure.

Forced coagulation
It is the traditional type of coagulation that enables quick
and effective coagulation of a local haemorrhage.

Soft coagulation
This mode enables deep coagulation that penetrates
deeper than other types. A typical application is to
control bleeding during a surgical procedure, when
other types of coagulation prove to be inefficient.
This type of coagulation is economical for the tools
and eliminates tissue carbonization.

ES350
with an argon module

A specialist electrosurgical system that meets the expectations of the most

demanding customers. It combines the benefits of diathermy, argon coagulation
and a blood vessel closing system.

The universal use of the available modes ensures the highest effectiveness
and quality of work during each procedure.
The generator enables work in the modes of standard cutting and coagulation,
argon cutting and coagulation, bipolar coagulation and closing major blood
vessels.

It is equipped with two monopolar sockets, a bipolar socket and an independend

ThermoStapler® socket. It enables operating with the use of various instruments
without the need of changing them during the procedure.

Equipped with SURGILOGIC a system for the automatic adjustment of power,

it maximizes the effectiveness of operation. The POWERSTART system also
facilitates the start of the cutting procedure.

 ES350
with an argon module

An electrosurgical generator which meets all the requirements of a modern

operating theatre. An integrated surgical diathermy generator with an ar-
gon module makes all the benefits of cutting and coagulations more easily
available and simple to use than ever.

The generator enables monopolar operation in standard modes and in the

mode of argon cutting and coagulation. Bipolar operation with the option
of automatic activation of AUTOSTART and limiting the time of activation
AUTOSTOP.
It is excellent both for open surgery as well as endoscopic and laparoscopic
procedures.

Equipped with SURGILOGIC a system for the automatic adjustment of power,

it maximizes the effectiveness of operation. The POWERSTART system also
facilitates the start of the cutting procedure.

ES400

The ES400 generator is an enhanced version of the ES350 generator.

It is additionally equipped with and alternative monopolar socket.

This enables operation with the use of two monopolar tools without the
need to switch during the procedure.

It enables monopolar and bipolar operation. It has all the functions and modes
available in ES350 and is equipped with SURGILOGIC and POWERSART
systems which enhance the effectiveness of operation.

The security systems: NEM and AUTOTEST guarantee the security of the

ES400 enables programming the most frequently used settings.

The programmes can be changed with the use of the remote MultiSwitch
foot switch.
 ES350

A modern electrosurgical generator which ensures satisfaction, even for

the most demanding Customers. The variety of operating modes available
enables versatile applications for open procedures, as well as endoscopy
and laparoscopy.

It enables monopolar and bipolar operation. It is also equipped with ad-

ditional functions for specialized procedures in urology, arthroscopy and
endoscopy.
The generator is equipped with systems that enhance the effectiveness of
operation: the system of automatic power adjustment SURGILOGIC and
POWERSTART, which facilitates the start of the procedure.

The neutral electrode monitoring system NEM and AUTOTEST guarantee

maximum security during the procedure.

The option of programming the settings additionally increases the simplicity

of handling and the comfort of work. The generator also enables remote
change of programmes with the use of the foot switch called MultiSwitch.
ES300

An universal electrosurgical generator designed for doctors’ surgeries, as

well as for most applications in the operating theatre. It is excellent for
laparoscopic techniques.

The generator operates in the monopolar mode with different levels

of haemostasis as well as in the mode of soft coagulation and forced
coagulation.
It enables bipolar coagulation controlled with the use of a foot switch or
automatically with the use of the Auto-Start function, and the possibility of

A state-of-the-art electrosurgical generator for multiple applications

with haemostasis, soft coagulation and forced coagulation. ES120
also enables operation in the bipolar coagulation mode.
