 How are Martin Luther and Paul VI related?

“Quite   recently,   on   20th   February   1959,   an   important   Catholic   weekly,  La   France 
catholique, published an article by Maria Winowska, generally considered to be one of 
the most lucid thinkers of our time, entitled  The Third Temptation. The title refers to 
Christ's temptation in the wilderness, when the Devil offered Him all the kingdoms of the 
earth: 'All shall be thine, if thou wilt fall down before me and worship!' Maria Winowska 
introduces   a   young   Hindu,   who   has   just   been   baptized.   Together   they   go   up   to 
Montmartre. Before their eyes was spread the vast, magnificent spectacle of Paris. The 
young Hindu burst out: 'Why don't you live according to your faith? The Gospel is clear: 
in the first place, prayer, in the first place, wisdom, in the first place, faith, in the first 
place charity,. It's all there on paper, but in practice?' 
“Maria   Winowska   replied:   'You   are   right,   but   all   the   same,   there   are   people 
amongst us, men and women, who do follow the Gospels. That is certain. There are even 
a   great   number   of   them.   And   that   pleads   for   us.   But   there   are   many   weaknesses, 
deficiencies, and illogicalities.' 
“The young Hindu went on: 'European Christians, for the most part, live as if they 
had no faith. I don't mean that they haven't any, but they certainly conceal the fact.' And 
he continued, relentlessly: 'I have met priests who talked to me of pastoral techniques, of 
methods, of adaptations, of the press, cinema and television. They are certainly good 
priests, but why don't they say what is essential? For us, wisdom is much more than that, 
more than anything else in the world. What proportion is there between Creator and the 
created?'
“'Do you know,' he said, 'that there were very few who would not have agreed to 
make a little bow, perhaps just a little click of the heels, to a tempter offering them the 
kingdoms of the world. They would say: 'If one got all that, it would be to the greater 
glory of God,' or 'One has to make certain concessions to the world, in order to dominate 
it,' or again 'Christianity won't be able to survive if it doesn't adapt itself to progress.' I am 
only quoting a few, but I can assure you that all these people had more confidence in 
human techniques than in faith.'
 “In brief, out of forty seven persons cautiously sounded by our young Hindu, only 
three or four truly preferred God to things. And it goes without saying that he had only 
approach good Catholics.” (Satan In The Modern World, Pages: 168­169)

If the clergy of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church becomes worldly, have they not 
lost the salt of the interior life?  Did not Christ say: “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt lose its 
savor, wherewith shall it be salted? It is good for nothing any more but to be cast out, and to be trodden 
on by men.” (Matthew 5:13) “It is a bad sign,” says Fr. Martial Lekeux author of the Art of Prayer, “for 
love of prayer is the barometer of religious vitality.”
If  we  then follow the syllogism,  the priests  having become more concerned about  activism 
(emphasis: pastoral techniques, of methods, of adaptations, of the press, cinema and television) they 
have forgotten the important part, the interior life. A life without the interior life, according to Pope 
Pius XII is the heresy of action. “Without divine grace, nothing holds together, nothing counts, nothing

has supernatural value. Without the interior life we fall into the heresy of action.”  10 Without the interior 
life there cannot be any charity (divine love) for God. 
Those that are consumed with divine love (charity) are always faithful to God. “Charity never 
falleth away.” (I Corinthians 13:8) But when the Antichrist shall come, the hearts of many Christians 
shall be cold.  “And because iniquity hath abounded, the charity of many shall grow cold.” (Matthew 
24:12) That is because of sins (iniquity) shall be immense (hath abounded) divine love (charity) for 
God will become extinct (grown cold).  Our Lord warns us:

“For many seducers are gone out into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is 
come in the flesh: this is a seducer and an antichrist. Look to yourselves, that you lose not 
the things which you have wrought: but that you may receive a full reward. Whosoever 
revolteth, and continueth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that continueth in 
the doctrine, the same hath both the Father and the Son.” (II John 1:7­9)

We are going to type the Latin for out for those that can read and understand, as Christ told us to 
do. (Matthew 24:15) 

“Quoniam multi seductores exierunt in mundum, qui non confitentur Iesum Christum 
venisse in carnem: hic est seductor, et antichristus. Videte vosmetipsos, ne perdatis quae 
operati estis: sed ut mercedem plenam accipiatis. Omnis qui  et non permanet in doctrina 
Christi, Deum non habet: qui permaet in doctrina, hic et Patrem et Filium habet.” (II John 
1:7­9)

We are going to back to the Latin for a specific reason. We are looking at the word recedit. It's 
root word is recédere. The definition of it is: “To fall away, or depart or stray from.” This is another 
connotation for schism and apostasy. And so shall it been when the Antichrist comes, for before him 
shall come a schism (Vatican II). I am going to show you how the seeds of schism were planted by 
Martin Luther (Protestantism). When Protestantism had finally matured as a full tree, it's fruits was 
Liberalism. Our Lord warned us about a tree and its fruits. “By their fruits you shall know them.” 
(Matthew 7:16) It was through Liberalism that the reign of the Paul VI (The Antichrist) left us a little 
flock of Christ.  As St. John Vianney says, “Leave a parish twenty years without a priest, and they will 
be worshiping the animals.”
