When continuing also crochet round the idle thread in order not to create long thread ends on WS. CROCHET 2 DC TOG: Insert hook in first dc, pull thread through, insert hook in next dc and pull thread through, YO and now pull thread through all 3 loops on hook = 1 dec dc. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------EASTER EGG: Worked in the round in your preferred colour. See picture for suggestions. Work 3 ch with crochet hook size 3 mm and Safran in the colour of your choice. Form a ring with 1 sl st in the first ch. ROUND 4: 1 ch, * 1 dc in each of the first 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* and finish with 1 sl st in ch from beg of round = 24 dc. ROUND 5: 1 ch, * 1 dc in each of the first 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* and finish with 1 sl st in ch from beg of round = 30 dc. ROUND 6 to 12: Work M.1/M.2 see CROCHET TIP! Work each round as follows: 1 ch, 1 dc in each dc, 1 sl st in ch from beg of round. ROUND 13: 1 ch, 1 dc in each of the first 3 dc, * 2 dc tog - see above, 1 dc in each of the next 6 dc *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times and finish with 1 dc in each of the last 3 dc and 1 sl st in ch from beg of round = 27 dc. ROUND 15: 1 ch, * 2 dc tog, 1 dc in each of the next 4 dc *, repeat from *-* a total of 4 times and finish with 1 sl st in ch from beg of round = 20 dc. ROUND 16: 1 ch, * 1 dc in each of the next 3 dc, 2 dc tog *, repeat from *-* a total of 4 times and finish with 1 sl st in ch from beg of round = 16 dc. NOTE! Now fill the egg with cotton wool. ROUND 17: Work 2 dc tog all the way round = 8 dc. ROUND 18: Work 2 dc tog all the way round = 4 dc. ROUND 19: Work 2 dc across the opening through both layers. Now crochet the strap.
