• Learning this question, students can ask me for the English names of objects, thus giving them the
opportunity to learn new vocabulary.

1. Greeting with Review Questions ~レビュー質問とご挨拶

2. Introduce New Grammar ~ 新しい文法を紹介

o Keep practicing with different objects until the students seem to understand.

3. Bad Fruiti Game ~ 不良フルーツゲーム

o Demonstrate a couple of times with HRT. If necessary, play as the shopkeeper for the first round.

o Make 1 student the shopkeeper.
o 1st time, price is always $1.
o Rest of class is customers. Give customers money.
o Customers buy fruits from shopkeepers.
 Customer: “Hello.”
 Shopkeeper: “Hello. What would you like?”
 Customer: “What’s this?”
 Shopkeeper “It’s a peach.”
 Customer: “I would like peach and melon please.”
 Shopkeeper: “Here you are.”
 Customer: “Thanks.”
 Shopkeeper: “You are welcome.”
o ALT says “stop” then a fruit’s name. e.g. “apple”
o All customers with apple have to all their fruits it to the ALT.
o Other customers keep their fruit.
o When finished, switch customers and shopkeepers.
o If it’s too easy, let shopkeepers chose price of fruit.
