1. Teacher shows a video clip to the class and asks them some questions.

Identifying the animals in the song

Video clip from the You Tube (Nursery Rhyme: Mary had a little lamb)

2. What is the song about?

3. What is the animal in the video called?

4. Students sing along as the lyrics appear on the screen. Presentation ( 15 mins )

5. Teacher shows a slide on PowerPoint with the picture of an animal and asks if the students know what the young of the animal called.

Pronunciation through drilling

PowerPoint pictures of tame animals and their young.

Vocabulary: 1. sheep-lamb

6. Students respond to the slides shown.
