Sometimes the Lord pulls back the curtain and we are privileged to see what He Is doing in the life of His children. Sunday 1 had that
said that her daughter and son-in-law had gone back to serve the demons, but she was following Christ and wanted nothing to do with
the demons. She asked if the Christians would help her build a little
house just big enough to sleep in. She would still eat with the family,
but be free to believe as she wanted.
One of the Christians asked me, "Do you have any old metal roofing
that she could use? She would be willing to pay for it out of what the
government gives her monthly for assistance (about $8.00)." "No, sorry, how about grass roofing? Is any available?" "No, there's none." The church Is looking into ways and means. My lesson that
morning was on the Three Men In the Fiery Furnace. It rather fit with the problem and was an
encouragement to the parents to teach the children and grandchildren about the Lord and for alt to be faithful in following Him.
Some Highlights of what God has done in the last few months:

follow up on the part of the churches there may be lasting fruit. Pray that the different churches will
follow up those in their area and lead them to faith in and a willinaness to follow the Lord.
Aaron and Tyler, the two young men living with me and helping with the farm project of Michael
Phillips, are doing well. Aaron has learned quite a lot of Thai and is able to share Christ with
students and workers. Tyler is now helping John Goddard set up an internet site to sell handicraft that the girls at the Chiangkam dorm are making. Tyler and Aaron will be returning to the U.S. in early
June. Pray for them as they seek the Lord's guidance for future schooling and/or work.
Thank you for your prayers, encouragement and support. May the Lord bless each one.

oldest son was a spendthrift and addicted to drugs. There were 2 younger daughters. The father legally made his oldest daughter the one with the right of inheritance in order to provide for his wife and
daughters. Both girls finished college and Bakhti, the oldest, taught school for 3 years and cared for the mother while the younger went to college in Thailand to get a Master's
degree. While there the younger daughter heard of Christ and believed in Him. Then she
returned home and let her older sister go to Thailand to get a Master's degree in English.
While Bakhti was in Thailand, her father died and later her mother became very ill. The doctors said there was no hope. However, a Christian woman visited and asked to pray for the mother. The mother improved and was able to return home, though still has high blood pressure and kidney failure for which she has to have dialysis about once a month. She too is on the journey to faith in Christ though the cost is high and any meetings must
be in secret.
In the meantime Bakhti in Thailand was befriended by Christians who shared the gospel with her. During her 2"^^
year she taught in an English camp for students at the
Chiangkam high school where she met Carol Feigleson, a missionary working in a local orphanage. A friendship
developed. Bakhti applied to teach English in the Chiangkham high school and was accepted for the 2"^ term beginning the latter part of October. She finished her Master's program and Carol helped her move to Chiangkam.

her greatest desire is to know God. Pray for her and for me as we study God's Word together. May it become exceedingly precious to her as the Holy Spirit reveals Christ
to her in all His glory.
Even before I knew about Bakhti, I learned of a website that
seeks to reach Muslims. It presents the Christian teaching and compares with Islamic teaching in a non-threatening
way. Just after she came, a pastor in the States who knew
nothing of Bakhti, mentioned a missionary who was seeking to reach Muslims through radio and the printed
Bakhti and Dorothy word. I contacted him and gave the radio schedule to
Bakhti who phoned her mother and told her about it. The
mother was thrilled to have a chance to listen to Christian teaching. So the Lord is using one here and another there to touch the lives ofmembers of this family. Isn't it neat to watch Him work? You too can have a share in this ministry through your prayers for
the family and the different ones who have contact with them.
