Check for earthing Of Panels Check for tightness of control / power wiring connections. Check IR Values at 500V of charger / cables & record in the table given below Check for sealing of spare cable entry holes Inspect all components for mechanical damages. Confirm their ratings / ranges against drawing. Test CTs for ratio / polarity. Check and record setting of protective devices. Record Voltage and check phase sequence of input supply. Switch on Float charger input switch. And confirm voltage in the range of 415 (+/-) 10% on AC Voltmeter. Switch on float charger output Switch. Check that output voltage gradually increases to rated Float voltage (238.0 V DC) and remains stable. Check Float charger function in Constant Voltage mode Check Float charger function in Constant Current mode if provided. Check Float charger function in Manual mode. Switch on boost charger AC input Switch and confirm voltage in the range of 415 (+/-) 10% on AC Voltmeter Switch on Boost Charger output Switch. Check that the output voltage gradually increases to rated Boost voltage (289.0 V D.C) and remains stable. Check Float charger function in Constant Current mode

Check Float charger function in Constant Voltage mode if provided. Check Float charger function in Manual mode. Check boost charger function when float charger suddenly getting OFF- Auto changer over function. Check float charger function when float charger normalize and feeding voltage to DC load and boost charger is not on load and charging to battery. Checks float charger function when battery is charging through boost charger. Check all annunciations provided on FC/FCBC charger panel by simulating in actual condition. Check all out put contacts of relays for Remote annunciation (DCS). Check functioning of cooling fans Check functioning of Heater / Lamp. Check ferruling provided on control wiring. Check controls / indicators/ Alarms as per scheme and record. Check ripple of load voltage. Check temperature of SCRs/Transformer/Chock/Capacitor. Check noise of transformer/chock.
