As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. The Holy Spirit empowers us with special faith to trust Him to keep us in times of danger.

I Corinthians 12:9, To another by faith the same Spirit.

Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastors Ron and Hope. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen

I believe on Jesus and the works that He did I shall do also. Greater works than these I will do because Jesus went to His Father. John 14:12 I will be filled with the Holy Ghost and will speak in other tongues as the Spirit gives me utterance. Acts 2:4 When I speak in an unknown tongue I edify myself, but when I prophesy I edify the church. I Corinthians 14:4

The Gift of Faith is not to be confused with the faith that comes from hearing, or the saving faith. Often danger brings the Gift of Faith into action. It gives personal protection for perilous circumstances. The Working of Miracles and the Gift of Faith are also different and best seen in the stories of Samson killing a lion (Working of Miracles) and Daniel kept safe in a pit full of lions (Gift of Faith). God used Samson to work a miracle by his bare hands to kill the lion. But when Daniel was thrown into the den full of lions, he didnt work a miracle though. God sent angels to shut the mouths of the lions so they couldnt eat Daniel. That special faith that Daniel had to trust God to keep him safe is known as the Gift of Faith. When our own faith is not enough to meet the challenge we are facing, God can give us a divine peace, power, and confidence that He will keep us.
