O fogo quente e a gua fresca. No h infelicidade.

O fazendeiro respondeu: Me d um ano, me deixe fazer as coisas do meu jeito e voc ver o que vai acontecer. A noite to necessria quanto o dia. Voc dir: "Seja feita a vossa vontade." No me oua, minha compreenso limitada. No me oua!

O outro Bom. alegria, fraternidade, paz, esperana, serenidade, humildade, benevolncia, empatia, generosidade, verdade, compaixo e f. Nature is not mute. It is man who is deaf. -Terence McKenna I never teach my pupils, I only attempt to provide the conditions in which they can learn. Albert Einstein There's nothing noble in being superior to your fellow men. True nobility is being superior to your former self. -Ernest Hemingway Those who have the privilege to know have the duty to act. -Albert Einstein Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habit. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny. -Lao Tzu Don't chase people. It will gratify half of mankind and astound the other. Mark Twain Make a choice of what you want, who you want to be and how youre going to do it. The universe will get out of your way. -Will smith

Don't chase people. Be yourself, do your own thing and work hard. The right people - the ones who really belong in your life - will come to you. And stay. -Will Smith Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom. Mastering others is strength. Mastering yourself is true power. -Lao Tzu Admit it. You aren't like them. You're not even close. You may occasionally dress yourself up as one of them, watch the same mindless television shows as they do, maybe even eat the same fast food sometimes. But it seems that the more you try to fit in, the more you feel like an outsider, watching the 'normal people' as they go about their automatic existences. For every time you say club passwords like 'Have a nice day' and 'Weather's awful today, eh?', you yearn inside to say forbidden things like 'Tell me something that makes you cry' or 'What do you think deja vu is for?'. Face it, you even want to talk to that girl in the elevator. But what if that girl in the elevator (and the balding man who walks past your cubicle at work) are thinking the same thing? Who knows what you might learn from taking a chance on conversation with a stranger? Everyone carries a piece of the puzzle. Nobody comes into your life by mere coincidence. Trust your instincts. Do the unexpected. Find the others. -Timothy Leary It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men. -Frederick Douglas The saddest aspect of life right now is that science gathers knowledge faster than society gathers wisdom. -Isaac Asimov The only way love can last a lifetime is if it's unconditional. The truth is this: love is not determined by the one being loved but rather by the one choosing to love. Stephen Kendrick If you really think the environment is less important than than economy try holding your breath while you count your money. -Dr Guy McPherson Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one. -Albert Einstein It is a thousand times better to have common sense without education than to have education without common sense. The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything. -Albert Einstein Your mind is your great friend, If you control it; But, Your mind is your greatest enemy, If it controls you. - Bhagavadgita Tudo aquilo que o homem ignora, no existe pra ele. Por isso o universo de cada um, se resume ao tamanho de seu saber - Albert Einstein Maturity is not when we start speaking BIG things. It is when we start understanding small things...

A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. Albert Einstein No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man. Heraclitus Those who are able to see beyond the shadows an d lies of their culture will never be understood, let alone believed, by the masses. Plato In ancient Greece (469 - 399 BC), Socrates was widely lauded for his wisdom. One day the great philosopher came upon an acquaintance who ran up to him excitedly and said, "Socrates, do you know what I just heard about one of your students?" "Wait a moment," Socrates replied. "Before you tell me I'd like you to pass a little test. It's called the Test of Three." "Test of Three?" "That's right," Socrates continued. "Before you talk to me about my student let's take a moment to test what you're going to say. The first test is Truth. Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?" No," the man said, "actually I just heard about It." "All right," said Socrates. "So you don't really know if it's true or not. Now let's try the second test, the test of Goodness. Is what you are about to tell me about my student something good?" "No, on the contrary..." "So," Socrates continued, "you want to tell me something bad about him even though you're not certain it's true?" The man shrugged, a little embarrassed. Socrates continued. "You may still pass though, b ecause there is a third test - the filter of Usefulness. Is what you want to tell me about my student going to be useful to me?" "No, not really." "Well," concluded Socrates, "if what you want to tell me is neither True nor Good nor even Useful, why tell it to me at all?" The man was defeated and ashamed. This is the reason Socrates was a great philosopher and held in such high esteem.

Alguns perseguem a felicidade, outros a criam. E o que os outros pensam, no problema nosso... problema deles Human behavior flows from three main sources: desire, emotion, and knowledge. Plato People who know little are usually great talkers, while men who know much say little - JeanJacques Rousseau What is commonly called falling in love is in most cases an intensification of egoic wanting and needing. You become addicted to another person, or rather to your image of that person. It has nothing to do with true love, which contains no wanting whatsoever. Eckhart Tolle The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it. Eckhart Tolle Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. -Leonardo da Vinci Definition of stupid: Knowing the truth, seeing the truth and still believing the lies. We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid. -Benjamin Franklin The more real you get the more unreal the world gets. -John Lennon You are your word. And in your word, which is you, lies the power to create anything you want in life. Anything. Wherever you are having "problems" or "trouble" or "discomfort" in life, you can rest assured that you're being inauthentic in some respect. This means you're "pretending" something is true that isn't necessarily true, typically so that you "look good" or avoid "looking bad" in some way. And as is typically the case when problems arise, you're likely not honoring your word to others. But looking good and avoiding looking bad will not get you anywhere in life. It might seem to work for a while, but it's a house of cards that inevitably falls apart, and more importantly, it can't and won't fulfill you. When you don't honor your word, you aren't being the real you, and trying to be something other than what you are can never fulfill you.

Honoring your word puts you in alignment with your true self, and along with that comes access to your true power. If you do what you say you will do, and commit to what you've said you commit to, and are authentic and honest with yourself and those around you, you can create absolutely anything you can imagine. But without authenticity, communication, and integrity, you will be like a leaf in the wind, and you will lose the respect, trust, and support of others and yourself. If you don't honor your word to yourself, then you won't respect yourself, plain and simple. You won't expect yourself to follow through with anything, and as a result, never will. Do you have to always "keep" your word? No, that's impossible, Sometimes you can't make good on promises or commitments. But you can always honor your word. This means dealing with the repercussions of not keeping your word, and contacting anyone involved ASAP to let them know you won't be keeping your word as originally given, and making acceptable, alternative arrangements, i.e. making amends and renewing your word on the matter. You are your word, and if you live that way, you can do, achieve, obtain, or create anything you can invent as a possibility. Never give up on what you really want to do. The person with big dreams is more powerful than one with all the facts. -Albert Einstein A man who does not think for himself does not think at all. -Oscar Wilde
