FINANCE FOR NON-FINANCE MANAGERS

OVERVIEW The orchestration of various business processes through a concerted effort is crucial in any business and one of the most significant ones would be economic decisions that involve those processes. This is definitely part of the quest for radically changing an organizations processes and core business functions with the objective of improving its efficiency, product/service quality, profitability and competitive advantage. This course covers financial decision making to a wide variety of managerial situations, including financial statement analysis; asset valuation, budgeting; cost management and evaluation of economic performance. Dr. Saravanan Muthaiyah received his Ph.D. in Information Technology from the Volgenau School of Information Technology and Engineering, Department of Computer Science, George Mason University, USA. His corporate experience includes working with IBM World Trade Corporation, Intel (Research Fellow) and Arthur Anderson.
