Liberated sages and realised saints may be outwardly of as many shades and colours as there are fishes in the

sea their strange whims and outward idiosyncrasies can baffle even the most sagacious of men so much so that he may not even see their inner holiness and perfection die to their dirty garb, awful manners and obscene and offensive language. They act funny, some are excessively boisterous, some obviously mad, some extremely drunk and phasing, some quietly measured, some pompous, some benignly disposed, some adorable, some highly venerable and some of them apparently abominable. There is no end to their whims and fancies as in the case of common folk. That is why they are scarcely and rarely recognised and they bother little about that. All these conditions of their outward behaviour are due to the fact that they are not conformists mostly and that they dont bother about their individual flaws because they dont identify the self with the body, mind or any other type of appearance. But if a person is of spiritual inclination, he can sense the holiness and sanctity of their person how much so ever disguised if may be. If such a one cultivates their company somehow or other, he will find them supremely compassionate and dispassion incarnate. They are all childlike in their innocence, devoid of all egoism and of absolute evenness of mind. Only because people fail to recognise them and their inner glory that impertinent nincompoops and hypocritical ignoramus amply receive and exploit the devotion of similar folks. Once in a long while some rare one comes along who can rise above his own destiny unbothered by the sense of time and circumstances. His vision is filled with truth instead of the colourful things and thoughts of the world he spurns all ambitions and accomplishments knowledge, wealth, fame and fortune as mere dirt and strives in his own way to imbibe that truth with himself which is the eternal source of all that is and even that which is not. In time, that truth itself comes to seek him and he is fulfilled with ineffable peace and blessedness. Then this truth shines through him bringing spiritual succour and solace to the suffering and struggling humanity without any volition on his part. This truth manifests itself as love and compassion through the absolute purity of his being. His personality and individuality, his mind and the ego sense dilute altogether in the peace and equanimity of his being and radiate all around as love and compassion for his fellow beings equally and absolutely.
