O Holy Apostle Philip, Intercede with the merciful God That he may grant our souls forgiveness of sins.
Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory for Ever! + Slava Isusu Christu! Slava i vo Viki!
YEAR OF FAITH
THE OUR FATHER, Part One The Our Father is the prayer our Lord Jesus Christ taught His disciples. It is the prayer of Gods children who were reborn by Baptism. In the Liturgy the priest introduces the Our Father with these words: And make us worthy, O Master, that we may with confidence and without condemnation dare call you Father, God of heaven, and say Our Father God is the Creator of all human beings. But in Baptism we receive filial adoption, adoption as His own children. We share in the life of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Who art in heaven God is exalted above all creation, yet He is everywhere present and filling all
things. Hallowed be Thy name Gods name is holy and is worthy of reverence. As Christians, we honor Gods holy name by living in such a way that we show forth His goodness and love. Fr.

Hospitality sign-up sheet: Sep 22 Prescott family, Sep 29 Stewart family, Oct 6 open, Oct 13 Baker family, Oct 20 Prescott family. Please sign up for hospitality for the upcoming Sundays; the list is in the parish hall. Thank you to Janson family for providing hospitality for us last Sunday. Collection Reminder. On Sunday Oct 6th, Special Priests Medical insurance collection will be taken. Premiums are out of sight and still on the rise. How does our little Eparchy manage to pay this monthly premium? The parishes pay a large portion of the premium for their priest while the Eparchy picks up the difference. Five active priests not assigned to parishes and four retired priests' premiums are picked up by the Eparchy every month. With the premium increases last May, the parishes assumed another small increase. Every parish feels the pinch. Your generous response to the two special medical insurance collections raised over $71,000 and is deeply appreciated. Once again we ask your generous assistance as we take up this special collection on Sunday, October 6th. Our goal is $50 per household or approximately $45,000. Your continued generosity is a blessing both for our Eparchy and her priest who serve you in so many ways!
