a business simulation competition for Graduate/Post Graduate level students of your esteemed institution. This competition is being organized on Saturday, 28th September, 2013 at our office premises in association with Junior Achievement India. Through this conclave we aim to sensitize students to the nuances of business, assess as well as enhance the level of business decision making. We request you to register a maximum of four teams (4 students each) from your institution. Please make the registrations before 13th September, 2013. JA IBC - Overview Originally conceived in the 1980s as the Management & Economic Simulation Exercise, JA Titan creates a world in which players are CEOs of their own companies, wherein they must run a manufacturing company and master six key business decisions Price of product Production levels Marketing expenses Research and development costs Capital investment level Charitable giving The overall purpose of this competition is to assess as well as enhance the level of business decision making, manage inter- dependencies between business functions with a limited availability of time and information. Guidelines & Details Participating teams as a whole make quarterly business decisions to achieve the business objective of becoming the Best Performing Business which is measured by a Performance Index. Teams should decipher the drivers of performance and their relative importance based on their individual and comparative company analysis. The competition will be held within Deloitte premises and will be facilitated by Deloitte professionals. The winning team will receive Rs 20,000/- , 1 st Runner Up team Rs 16,000/- and 2 nd Runner Up team Rs 12,000/along with Merit Certificates. All others participants will receive Participation Certificates. All prize money will be credited to the bank account of the winners.
