Tuition for the MBA, MSA, MSF, MSM, and business and IT certificate programs is $441.00 per quarter credit hour (with the exception of GB 514/ GB 516 and GB 515/GB 517, which are $441.00 and $59.00 per quarter credit hour, respectively); tuition for the graduate education, MSCJ, MSEdPsych, MSHSEM, MSHE, MPH, and graduate and postgraduate arts and sciences certificate programs is $385.00 per quarter credit hour; tuition for the MSLS, MPA, MSEP, MSN and nursing certificate,and MSP programs is $368.00 per quarter credit hour; tuition for the MSIT program is $402.00 per quarter credit hour; and tuition for the MHCA is $420.00 per quarter credit hour. Any questions, comments, or concerns regarding the current tuition rate and/or changes to tuition rates are to be directed to Academic Advising. A change in program may not constitute a change in tuition. International students at Kaplan University will receive a 25 percent tuition reduction because they are required to pay 15 weeks tuition and fees in full prior to the start of each payment term. Books and other instructional materials are not included. Not all programs are available to all international students. Check with an International Admissions Advisor. The following tuition and fee information applies to all international students: 1.  All students are required to pay a $200.00 technology fee per term. For the MBA, MSA, MSM, MSIT, MSF, MAT, MSE, MSEIT, MS in Higher Education and graduate education, business, and IT certificate programs, this fee is prorated to $100.00 per six-week term. 2.  Tuition and fees are subject to change after 30 days advance notice. See your Enrollment Agreement for an explanation of the Refund Policy. 3.  Payment must be made by credit card or wire transfer. 4.  Failure to return library materials to Kaplan University or any of its partner libraries will result in a nancial obligation to Kaplan University and may result in postponement of registration for a new term or graduation. 5.  A fee of $100.00 is required for each Challenge Exam taken. 6.  Students will receive one free copy of their official transcript. A fee of US$10.00 is charged for each additional copy. A US$2.00 shipping and handling fee will be charged if the receiving school is unable to accept electronic delivery; an additional fee of US$25.00 is required if rush delivery is requested for delivery within the U.S. Additional fees may apply for international delivery requests. 7.  Master of Business Administration students will pay one-time fees of $84.50 as part of GB 500 ($64.50 for Insights Discovery Profile and $20.00 for Marketplace Business Simulation) and $40.00 as part of GB 601 (Marketplace Business Simulation); Master of Science in Management students will pay a one-time fee of $64.50 prior to the start of GM 500 (Insights Discovery Profile). 8.  Students enrolled in the Master of Science in Nursing and School of Nursing certificate programs are required to submit criminal background checks. Students will be required to submit: (1) by the sixth week of the first term to give time to process by the end of the term; (2) prior to practicum. 9. S tudents enrolled in the School of Public Safety are required to submit documentation of a criminal background check by the sixth week of the first term to give time to process by the end of the term. 10.  Students enrolled in the Master of Public Health program are required to submit criminal background checks. Students will be required to submit: (1) by the sixth week of the first term to give time to process by the end of the term; (2) prior to fieldwork. 11.  Fees and completion time for background checks vary by country. Additional criminal background check information may be required for a student based on his or her country or clinical setting. All expenses incurred for the background check will be paid by the student directly to the provider. 12.  To attend a masters degree program at Kaplan University, students must have earned a bachelors degree. To attend a postgraduate degree program at Kaplan University, students must have earned a masters degree. Prior to enrollment, foreign transcripts must be evaluated for equivalency to a U.S. college degree by an NACESapproved evaluation agency. Please refer to the University Catalog for specific requirements. 13.  Cancellation of Enrollment Agreement: Five-Day CancellationAn applicant who provides written notice of cancellation within five days (excluding Saturdays Sunday, and federal and state holidays) of signing an enrollment agreement is entitled to a refund of all monies paid.

* Full-time status in a graduate program is defined as 8 credit hours per term and in a nonstandard graduate program (MBA/MSF/MSA/MSM/MSIT/MSE/MSEIT/MSHE) as 4 credit hours per term. MBA, MSF, MSA, MSM, and all School of Graduate Education programs (with the exception of the Master of Science in Educational Psychology) terms are 6 weeks; all other terms are 10 weeks.

The number of credits and terms varies depending on choice of thesis/non-thesis track and/or specialization.
