Applications, on prescribed Forms, are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following positions for the University main Campus and its peripheral Campus(s) on Tenure Track/Regular and Contract bases. Sci, Chemistry, BPS-21 University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a 01 Computer Sci, Zoology, Botany, Geology, or National or International Organization. The applicant must have 15 Research publications (with at English, Management Studies & Sociology. * least 05 publications in the last five years) in HEC recognized journals. Teaching/ Research (Main Campus) Contract experience for professor in computer will be 12 years with 12 research publications. Candidates for professorship in Pharmacy must have Registration with the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan . Associate Professors TTS Ph.D from an HEC recognized University/Institution in the relevant field with 10-years teaching/ Two each in the subjects of Forestry, or research experience or 05 years post Ph.D teaching/ research experience in HEC recognized 02 Pharmacy, English (01 for Chitral), Computer BPS-20 University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a Sci (01 for Chitral), one each in the subjects of or National or International Organization. The applicant must have 10 Research publications (with at Envi. Sci Biotechnology, Zoology, Botany, * least 04 publications in the last five years) in HEC recognized journals. Teaching/ Research Chemistry, Geology, Mgt Studies & Sociology. Contract experience for Associate professor in Computer Science will be 07 years with 08 research (Main Campus) publications. Candidates for Associate professorship in Pharmacy must have Registration with the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan. 20 a) First Class Master Degree/LLB or higher qualification with 15 years Teaching/ Administration/Examination experience in BPS-17 in a University/ Higher Education Department. OR b). Second Class Master Degree/LLB with 18 years Teaching/ Administration/Examination experience in a University/ Higher Education Department. Preference will be given to those having experience in data base, conduction of examination and management of secrecy. Ph.D in the relevant field OR Masters Degree (Foreign) or M.Phil (Pakistan) with 04-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
Note: Teaching/ Research experience for Assistant professor in computer will be 02 years Candidates for Assistant professorship in Pharmacy must have Registration with the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.

Note:
Contract Condition of 1st Class shall be relax able in favor of 2nd division in Master Degree, in case a candidate have M.Phil Degree. 1st Division in Master of Arts in English shall be relax able in favor of 2nd division for annual system degree holders Candidates for lectureship in Pharmacy must have Registration with the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: 1. Application Forms can be obtained from Habib Bank Limited Sheringal Branch on payment of (Rs.1500/- for S.No 1 to 4), (Rs.1000/- from S.No. 5 to 10), Original Bank Receipt should be attached with the application Form. The fee is also acceptable in the form of Bank draft of any HBL branch in favor of the Treasurer Shaheed BB University. The Form can also be down loaded from the University Web Site www.sbbu.edu.pk. 2. Application Forms, complete in all respects, along with all relevant documents/experience certificates and two passport sized color photographs, should reach the office of the under signed on or before 23.09.2013 positively. 3. Incomplete applications or those received after due date shall not be entertained. 4. Original documents will have to be produced at the time of interview. 5. The University shall issue call letters for test/interview; however, the University shall not be responsible for the late receipt of call letters. Such cases shall be dealt with the concerned Post/Courier Services 9. The University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel them without showing any reason 10. The candidates for Professorship/Associate Professorship must mention whether they want to apply for Tenure Track or permanent or contract positions. Vacancies related to Tenure Track System shall subject to the approval of Higher Education Commission Islamabad. Further the candidates for professor and Associate Professors are required to submit three sets of documents with Rs.5000/additional fee for the evaluation of their publications by the subject experts. (Note) Contract positions of Professor /Associate Professor shall be dealt on case to case basis, subject to approval of the competent authority. Only retired qualified candidates can apply. Retired individuals are exempted from application and processing fee etc. they should just send completed forms only. Errors and omissions, if any, shall be subject to rectification by the University.
