Although such remote locations require modern communication, most existing communication solutions are either too expensive or technically impossible to deploy in those locations. In those markets, MNOs traditionally focused on major urban centers where the greatest demand and stiffest competition exists, leaving remote locations normally associated with low ARPU, underprioritized. Shirons outdoor BTS solution is designed to keep size and weight factors to a minimum, to reduce transportation costs and space requirements, while providing the ability to withstand harsh environmental conditions, typical to satellite targeted location. The outdoor package is easy to install, and can be deployed easily by the same teams that deploy regular VSAT remotes (after a short GSM installation course). The low cost nature of the outdoor BTS solution and its size and weight considerations, make it ideal for USO (Universal Service Obligations) coverage projects.

Green Power
Shiron prides on being the vendor with the lowest power consumption in the industry, making it ideal for deployment without regulated power supply (off-grid).
