We have volunteering opportunities all year round, so please indicate your interests. Closer to the festival we will conduct info sessions to outline further festival opportunities. VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT between Feast Festival and .......................................................................................................... (Residential address) Volunteering is an activity which takes place in not for profit organisations or projects and is undertaken by an individual of their own free will, without payment, provides a benefit to the community and complements but does not replace the activities of paid staff FEAST CREW MEMBER A Feast Crew Member is a person who has been allocated specific roles or tasks to be undertaken during the period of the festival, in the time leading to the festival and after the festival is concluded. MUTUAL OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES In order to enhance the volunteers experience, Feast will: Provide each volunteer with orientation and training Ensure each volunteer has fun and meets people Provide each volunteer with a healthy and safe workplace Provide appropriate insurance cover Define volunteer roles and develop clear job descriptions Provide appropriate levels of support and management for all volunteers Reimburse volunteers for pre-approved out of pocket expenses incurred on behalf of the organisation. Approval must be provided by the Feast Volunteer Coordinator prior to the expense being incurred. Acknowledge and value each volunteers contributions Reserve the right to select the people who will represent Feast as Feast Crew in a manner appropriate for the organisation, and to assign particular duties as felt appropriate The Volunteer will: Start at the scheduled time. If unable to attend, notify the Volunteer Coordinator as soon as possible Refrain from (a) consuming alcohol or other recreational substances, when on duty, that may hinder their ability to carry out their duties in a professional manner or breach insurance obligations of Feast and from (b) smoking whilst on duty Display an understanding of the Festivals activities and objectives Work as part of a productive team and to be of neat presentation. Have an ability to work under supervision Read job description details and have a good understanding of job and responsibilities prior to commencing Display, at all times, friendly manner and desire to assist the general public in keeping with Feasts professional profile Address any grievance or conflict directly to your Team Leader or the Volunteer Coordinator DECLARATION I agree to the Feast Volunteer Agreement. I understand that I may be asked to undergo a police check if deemed appropriate by Feast staff and that I will receive no financial compensation in exchange for my volunteer work. TERMINATION This agreement may be terminated by Feast if at any time the Volunteer does not comply with the terms and conditions within.
