CHARGING YOUR BRAVEN

Before using your BRAVEN speaker for the first time, charge it until the Power/Sync Light turns off, indicating a full charge (typically 2 to 4 hours). For the fastest charge, plug the included USBto-Micro-USB cable into the included wall power adapter. Plug the Micro-USB connector end into the BRAVEN Charging Port. You can also charge using a powered USB port on a computer, but charge time will be longer than when charging from a wall outlet.

CHARGE INDICATOR LIGHTS: To check your BRAVENs battery charge level press the Battery Check Button located on the left side of your speaker. The Battery Indicator Light will illuminate indicating the current battery charge level. White light = 50 - 100% charge Blue light = 10 - 50% Red light = 0 - 10%

The power adapter comes fitted with the appropriate adapter for the US region. To change to any other region adapter follow these steps: 1. To remove an adapter head, pull the release latch back on the base unit and slide the head up and out. Select the appropriate power adapter for your region and slide the adapter head into the plug base until you hear a click. 2. 1.

TURN ON & SYNC

1. Slide the power switch up to the on position. You will hear the BRAVEN power up sound. 2. Activate Bluetooth on the phone or device you are pairing with (see your 4. CHARGING EXTERNAL DEVICES

BRAVEN is designed to charge USB devices that draw from 0.3A - 1A (most cell phones & mp3 players. Tablets and
other 2A devices cannot be charged by your BRAVEN speaker)

APPROXIMATE CHARGING CAPACITY On a full charge, without music playing, your BRAVEN speaker can charge external devices to the following approximate levels: BRAVEN 650 will charge a typical smartphone approximately 80-100% (depending on model and
battery size)

SPEAKERPHONE
You can use your BRAVEN speaker as a conference calling device if your phone supports this feature. When the BRAVEN is synced via Bluetooth with your phone and a call comes in, the speaker will beep. Music, if playing, will pause, and your ringtone will play over the speaker. ANSWERING A CALL Press the Phone/Pairing Button on the BRAVEN to answer the call over the speaker. The call will be answered using the BRAVENs microphone and speakerphone. If you press the answer button on your phone, some phones may answer via the mobile device and not the BRAVEN speaker. You may need to manually select the BRAVEN speaker as the audio source to use it as the speakerphone. (Consult your Bluetooth devices user
manual for instructions on selecting an audio source.)

Press the Phone/Pairing Button again to end the call. Alternatively, you may press the end call button on your mobile phone to end the call. Once the call is ended, your music will resume playing if your mobile phone allows this feature.

DEVICE CONTROL
While playing music and movies you can pause and skip tracks forward and back by using the following buttons on the BRAVEN speaker. Pause: Press the Phone/Pairing/Pause Button for 0.5 seconds. Press again to resume playback. Skip to next track: Press the Volume Up/Skip Track Button for 3 seconds. Skip back: Press the Volume Down/Skip Back Button for 3 seconds. (To skip to the previous track instead of to the beginning of the current track, press and hold the Volume Down Button within the first few seconds of the current song)

DAISY-CHAINING
You can daisy-chain multiple BRAVEN speakers together for increased sound. Using the included 3.5mm audio cable, connect the line-out of your paired BRAVEN speaker to the line-in port of another BRAVEN speaker. You can also connect via line-out to non-BRAVEN or non-Bluetooth-enabled speaker systems
(home, car, office, overhead systems, other portable speakers, etc.).

The paired BRAVEN speaker acts as a Bluetooth receiver, and audio will play on both the BRAVEN and on the linked speaker systems. Volume can be controlled independently on each speaker and on the paired device.

TROUBLESHOOTING
I CANT HEAR ANYTHING FROM MY SPEAKER 1. BRAVEN audio levels can be controlled independently, both on the speaker and the Bluetooth source device. Check the volume levels on both devices to ensure that they are turned up sufficiently. 2. If using the 3.5mm cable, check that the cable is fully inserted into both your device and the BRAVEN speaker. 3. Some devices experience volume loss when connected to speakers through Bluetooth. WARNINGS & CAUTIONS

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the BRAVEN to rain or moisture. The BRAVEN should not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should not be placed on or near it. Do not use near bathtubs, washbowls, kitchen sinks, laundry tubs, in a wet basement, near a swimming pool, or anywhere else that water is present. As with any electronic products, use care not to spill liquids into any part of the product. Liquids can cause a failure and/or a fire hazard. The power supply must be used indoors only. It is neither designed nor tested for charging outdoors, in recreation vehicles, or on boats. Make no modifications to the product or accessories. Unauthorized alterations may compromise safety, regulatory compliance, and system performance, and will void the warranty. Do not place any flame sources, such as lighted candles, on or near the BRAVEN. The BRAVEN contains small parts that may be a choking hazard and is not suitable for children under age 3. Before use, fully charge the battery using the supplied power adapter. Do not continue charging the battery if it does not reach full charge within the specified charging time. Overcharging may cause the battery to become hot, rupture, or ignite. If you see any heat deformation or leakage, properly dispose of the battery. Do not attempt to charge the battery in temperatures outside the range of 32-104F (0-40C). If the battery begins to leak, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with your skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately. Do not expose the product or battery to excessive heat, including direct sunlight or fire and storage or use inside cars in hot weather, where it can be exposed to temperatures in excess of 115F (60C). The A2DP profile is supported by most recent mobile products with built-in Bluetooth capability. RECHARGER VOTRE BRAVEN

Avant dutiliser lenceinte BRAVEN pour la premire fois, rechargez-la jusqu ce que le voyant dalimentation/ de synchro steigne, ce qui indique que la recharge est complte (habituellement aprs 2 4 heures). Pour recharger lenceinte plus rapidement, branchez le cble USB vers micro-USB inclus dans ladaptateur de prise murale inclus. Branchez le connecteur micro-USB dans le port de recharge de lenceinte BRAVEN. Vous pouvez aussi recharger lenceinte grce un port USB sous tension dun ordinateur. Toutefois, le temps de recharge sera alors plus long que lors de la recharge partir dune prise murale.

COULEUR DU VOYANT DE RECHARGE :

Pour vrifier le niveau de charge de la batterie de lenceinte BRAVEN, appuyez sur la touche de vrification de la batterie, situe du ct gauche de lenceinte. Le voyant de la batterie sallumera pour indiquer le niveau de charge actuel de la batterie.

MISE SOUS TENSION ET SYNCHRO

Activez Bluetooth sur le tlphone ou le dispositif avec lequel vous appariez lenceinte (consultez le manuel dinstructions du dispositif pour savoir comment activer sa fonction Bluetooth). 3. Maintenez enfonce la touche dappariement de lenceinte BRAVEN jusqu ce que le voyant dtat de synchro commence clignoter rapidement et que vous entendiez le son de synchronisation de lenceinte BRAVEN. 4. Accdez aux rglages Bluetooth de votre tlphone ou de votre dispositif, puis slectionnez le dispositif BRAVEN partir de la liste. 5. RECHARGE DE DISPOSITIFS EXTERNES

Lenceinte BRAVEN permet de recharger des dispositifs USB dont lintensit de fonctionnement est de 0,3 A 1 A (soit la plupart des tlphones cellulaires et des lecteurs MP3; il est impossible de recharger les tablettes et les autres dispositifs de 2 A au moyen de lenceinte BRAVEN). Pour ce faire, utilisez le port USB de taille normale du ct gauche de lenceinte. Pour recharger un dispositif externe: 1. Mettez lenceinte BRAVEN sous tension au moyen de linterrupteur marche/arrt. 2. Branchez le cble dalimentation USB fourni avec le tlphone, le lecteur MP3 ou tout autre dispositif mobile dans le port USB de lenceinte BRAVEN. 3. Branchez lautre extrmit du cble dans le dispositif mobile; la recharge commencera sur-le-champ. Votre enceinte BRAVEN peut servir de dispositif de confrence tlphonique si votre tlphone prend cette fonction en charge. Si lenceinte BRAVEN est synchronise avec votre tlphone laide de la technologie Bluetooth et que vous recevez un appel, lenceinte mettra un bip. Si de la musique joue, elle sarrtera momentanment, et lenceinte mettra votre sonnerie. RPONDRE UN APPEL Appuyez sur la touche de tlphone/appariement sur lenceinte BRAVEN pour rpondre lappel au moyen de lenceinte. Le microphone et le module mains libres de lenceinte BRAVEN vous permettront deffectuer lappel. Si vous appuyez sur la touche de rponse de votre tlphone, il est possible que lappel soit trait par le tlphone et non pas par lenceinte BRAVEN. Vous devrez peut-tre slectionner manuellement lenceinte BRAVEN comme source audio pour pouvoir lutiliser comme dispositif mains libres (consultez le mode demploi du dispositif Bluetooth pour savoir comment slectionner une source audio). Appuyez nouveau sur la touche de tlphone/appariement pour mettre fin lappel. Vous pouvez galement appuyer sur la touche de fin dappel sur votre tlphone cellulaire pour mettre fin lappel. Lorsque lappel sera termin, la musique recommencera jouer si votre tlphone cellulaire est dot de cette fonctionnalit.

CONNEXION EN GUIRLANDE
Vous pouvez connecter en guirlande plusieurs enceintes BRAVEN pour augmenter lintensit sonore. Utilisez le cble audio 3,5 mm inclus pour connecter la sortie de ligne de votre enceinte BRAVEN apparie lentre de ligne dune autre enceinte BRAVEN. Vous pouvez aussi utiliser la sortie de ligne pour effectuer une connexion avec les systmes denceintes non BRAVEN ou non Bluetooth (maison, auto, bureau, systmes fixs au plafond, autres enceintes portables, etc.). Lenceinte BRAVEN apparie sert de rcepteur Bluetooth; le son sera diffus par lenceinte BRAVEN ainsi que par les systmes denceintes qui lui sont lis. LENCEINTE NE SEMBLE METTRE AUCUN SON 1. Le niveau sonore de lenceinte BRAVEN peut tre rgl sparment sur lenceinte et sur le dispositif source Bluetooth. Vrifiez que le volume du son des deux dispositifs est suffisamment lev. 2. Si vous utilisez le cble 3,5 mm, vrifiez quil est entirement insr dans le dispositif ainsi que dans lenceinte BRAVEN. 3. Le volume sonore de certains dispositifs diminue lorsque ceux-ci sont connects des enceintes au moyen de la technologie Bluetooth (veuillez consulter le mode demploi du dispositif pour de plus amples renseignements). LE SIGNAL EST COUP 1. Un signal Bluetooth peut tre perturb par des objets qui bloquent le champ dmission entre lenceinte BRAVEN et le dispositif qui diffuse le son et auquel elle est apparie. Antes de utilizar su altavoz BRAVEN por primera vez, crguelo hasta que se apague la luz de Alimentacin/Sincronizacin, lo que indica una carga completa (normalmente de 2 a 4 horas). Para una carga ms rpida, enchufe el cable de USB a Micro USB suministrado en el adaptador de alimentacin de pared incluido. Enchufe en el puerto de carga del BRAVEN el extremo que tiene el conector Micro USB. ENCENDER Y SINCRONIZAR
1. Deslice el interruptor de alimentacin a la posicin on. Escuchar el sonido de encendido del BRAVEN. 2. Active el Bluetooth en el telfono o dispositivo con el que se est asociando (vea el manual de instrucciones de su dispositivo para obtener informacin sobre la activacin de su configuracin de Bluetooth). 3. Cargue dispositivos externos

BRAVEN est diseado para cargar dispositivos USB que toman desde 0,3 A a 1 A (la mayora de los telfonos celulares y reproductores de mp3. TELFONO CON ALTAVOZ

Puede utilizar su altavoz BRAVEN como dispositivo para llamadas de conferencia si su telfono admite esta funcin. Cuando el BRAVEN est sincronizado con su telfono va Bluetooth y entra una llamada, el altavoz emitir un pitido. Si hay msica reproducindose, se pausar y sonar su tono de llamada por el altavoz. RESPONDER A UNA LLAMADA Presione el botn de llamada/asociacin en el BRAVEN para contestar a la llamada por el altavoz. La llamada se contestar mediante el micrfono y altavoz del BRAVEN. Si oprime el botn de respuesta en el telfono, algunos telfonos respondern a travs del dispositivo mvil y no del altavoz BRAVEN. Es posible que tenga que seleccionar manualmente el altavoz BRAVEN como fuente de audio para poderlo utilizar como altavoz para el telfono. (Consulte el manual del usuario de su dispositivo Bluetooth para obtener instrucciones sobre cmo seleccionar una fuente de audio.) Presione nuevamente el botn de telfono/asociacin para dar por terminada la llamada. Opcionalmente, puede pulsar el botn de finalizar llamada de su telfono mvil para dar por terminada la llamada. Una vez que haya finalizado la llamada, la msica reanudar su reproduccin si su telfono mvil permite esta caracterstica.

CONTROL DEL DISPOSITIVO

Mientras se reproducen msica o pelculas, puede pausar y saltar pistas hacia adelante o hacia atrs empleando los siguientes botones del altavoz BRAVEN. Pausa: Presione el botn de Telfono/Asociacin/ Pausa durante 0,5 segundos. Presinelo de nuevo para reanudar la reproduccin. Saltar a la pista siguiente: Pulse el botn de subir de volumen/saltar pista durante 3 segundos. Saltar atrs: Pulse el botn de bajar volumen/saltar atrs durante 3 segundos. (Para saltar a la pista anterior en lugar de ir al principio de la pista actual, mantenga pulsado el botn de bajar volumen durante los primeros segundos de la cancin actual).

CONEXIN EN CADENA
Puede conectar en cadena varios altavoces BRAVEN para tener un mayor sonido. Con el cable de audio de 3,5 mm incluido, conecte la salida de altavoz BRAVEN asociado al puerto de entrada de lnea de otro altavoz BRAVEN. Tambin puede conectarse por salida de lnea a sistemas de altavoces que no sean de BRAVEN o que no tengan capacidad de Bluetooth (en la casa, el automvil, la oficina, sistemas de megafona, otros altavoces porttiles, etc.). El altavoz BRAVEN asociado acta como receptor de Bluetooth y el audio se reproducir tanto en el BRAVEN como en los sistemas de altavoces enlazados. ADVERTENCIAS Y PRECAUCIONES
Para reducir el riesgo de incendio o descarga elctrica, no exponga el BRAVEN a la lluvia o la humedad. El BRAVEN no debe exponerse a escurrimientos o salpicaduras, y no se deben colocar cerca de l objetos llenos de lquido, como jarrones. No lo utilice cerca de baeras, lavabos, fregaderos de cocina, tinas de lavandera, en stanos hmedos, cerca de una piscina o en ningn otro lugar donde haya agua presente. Como ocurre con cualquier otro producto electrnico, tenga cuidado de no derramar lquidos en ninguna parte del mismo. Los lquidos pueden causar fallos o el riesgo de incendio. La fuente de alimentacin slo debe utilizarse en interiores. No est diseado ni probado para la carga al aire libre, en vehculos recreativos o en embarcaciones. No le haga modificaciones al producto ni a sus accesorios. Las alteraciones no autorizadas pueden poner en riesgo la seguridad, el cumplimiento normativo y el rendimiento del sistema, adems de que anularn la garanta. No coloque en el BRAVEN o cerca de l ninguna fuente de llamas, como seran velas encendidas. No exponga el producto o la batera a un calor excesivo, incluyendo la luz solar directa o el fuego, ni al almacenamiento o utilizacin dentro de automviles en climas clidos, donde pueda estar expuesto a temperaturas por encima de los 115 F (60 C). Hacerlo podra causar que la batera y la fuente de alimentacin generen calor, se rompan o se incendien. DAISY-CHAINING
Sie knnen mehrere BRAVEN-Lautsprecher fr verbesserten Klang verbinden (Daisy Chain). Verbinden Sie mit dem enthaltenen 3,5-mm-Audiokabel das Line-Out-Kabel ihres gekoppelten BRAVEN-Lautsprechers mit dem Line-In-Eingang eines anderen BRAVENLautsprechers. Sie knnen per Line-Out auch mit anderen Lautsprechersystemen verbinden, die nicht von BRAVEN sind oder kein Bluetooth untersttzen (Heim-, Auto-, Bro-, Overhead-Systeme, andere tragbare Lautsprecher, etc.). Der gekoppelte BRAVEN-Lautsprecher funktioniert als Bluetooth-Receiver, und der Ton wird sowohl ber den BRAVEN, als auch ber die verbundenen Lautsprechersysteme ausgegeben. Halten Sie den BRAVEN von Regen und Feuchtigkeit fern, um das Risiko von Feuer oder Stromschlgen zu verringern. Der BRAVEN sollte nicht mit Tropfen oder Spritzern in Kontakt kommen, und Gegenstnde, die mit Flssigkeiten gefllt sind, wie etwa Vasen, sollten nicht auf ihm oder in seiner Nhe platziert werden. telefoni potrebbero rispondere attraverso il telefono e non attraverso laltoparlante BRAVEN. Per usarlo come vivavoce necessario selezionare manualmente laltoparlante BRAVEN come fonte audio. (Consultare il manuale utente del dispositivo Bluetooth per istruzioni sulla selezione di una fonte audio). Premere di nuovo il pulsante telefono/accoppiamento per interrompere la chiamata. CONTROLLO DISPOSITIVO

Antes de utilizar o seu alto-falante BRAVEN pela primeira vez, carregue-o at o indicador luminoso de alimentao/ sincronizao se apagar, o que indica que est totalmente carregado (normalmente 2 a 4 horas). Para carregar mais rapidamente, ligue o cabo USB-paraMicro-USB includo no adaptador de tomada de parede fornecido. Ligue a extremidade do conector micro USB porta de carregamento do BRAVEN. O BRAVEN foi concebido para carregar dispositivos USB com uma potncia de 0,3 A a 1 A (a grande maioria dos telemveis e leitores mp3; no possvel carregar tablets e outros dispositivos de 2 A no seu alto-falante BRAVEN) utilizando a porta USB de tamanho normal situada no lado esquerdo do alto-falante. Para utilizar o carregamento externo: 1. Ligue o interruptor de alimentao do BRAVEN. 2. Ligue o cabo de alimentao USB que foi fornecido com o seu telefone, leitor mp3 ou outro dispositivo mvel porta USB do alto-falante BRAVEN. 3. Ligue a outra extremidade do cabo ao seu dispositivo mvel e este comear automaticamente a ser carregado.

ALTO-FALANTE
Pode utilizar o seu alto-falante BRAVEN como dispositivo de chamadas de conferncia se o seu telefone suportar esta funcionalidade. Quando o BRAVEN sincronizado atravs de Bluetooth com o seu telefone e receber uma chamada, o alto-falante ir emitir um aviso sonoro. Se estiver a reproduzir msica, esta ser colocada em pausa e o toque do seu telefone ser reproduzido no alto-falante. ATENDER UMA CHAMADA Pressione o boto de telefone/emparelhamento no BRAVEN para atender uma chamada atravs do alto-falante. A chamada ser atendida mediante a utilizao do microfone e alto-falante do seu BRAVEN. Se pressionar o boto de atendimento da chamada no seu telefone, alguns telefones podem atender a chamada atravs do dispositivo mvel e no do alto-falante BRAVEN. possvel que tenha de seleccionar manualmente o alto-falante BRAVEN como fonte de udio para o utilizar como alto-falante. (Consulte o manual do utilizador do seu dispositivo Bluetooth para obter instrues sobre como seleccionar uma fonte de udio.) A fonte de alimentao dever ser utilizada apenas no interior. No foi concebida nem testada para realizar o carregamento no exterior, em veculos de recreio ou em embarcaes.
