Vancouver, BC ~ Multiple Grammy Award nominee, Joe Satriani, will embark on his first cross- Canada tour this Fall. In addition to the concert dates, Satriani will make a public appearance at Long & McQuade in Vancouver, BC (368 Terminal Avenue) for an autograph session and a few photo ops on Friday, October 18 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Joe Satriani is a rock guitar superstar with thirteen landmark solo studio recordings that have changed the landscape of six-string-oriented music. His latest effort, Unstoppable Momentum, debuted on the Billboard Top 200 chart at #42, making this Satrianis highest chart debut in over twenty years. For two decades, Satriani has traveled the world, playing to sold-out crowds as both a headliner and as founder of the all-star G3 guitar extravaganza. His studio and live recordings have sold more than ten million copies worldwide and of his many solo albums, two have been certified platinum and four have been certified gold. His side project, Chickenfoot, featuring former Van Halen front man Sammy Hagar, former bassist Michael Anthony, and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith saw their debut album reach gold status and their second album debut at #9.
