Deployed in one of three deployment models for Siebel Zero-Downtime Upgrades.


Progressively more complex based on business requirements for risk tolerance, downtime, and desired method of migrating users to the new version of Siebel.
Risk Tolerance 1) Uni-Directional Allows for testing in advance & ensures transactional data integrity. No failback.

2) Active-Passive - Unidirectional replication, with passive bi-directional replication for failback after cutover.
