1. Word of God The Bible is Gods revelation, the Word of God, the ultimate authority for faith and practice. 2. God There is only one true and living God existing in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 3. Jesus Christ Jesus Christ is true God and man. He suffered and died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice to provide salvation for mankind. He rose again on the third day, and ascended into heaven where he is now seated at Gods right hand of power, ruling over all things and interceding for us as advocate and High Priest, until he comes again to establish his kingdom upon the earth. 4. The Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit is a Divine Person, the Comforter who indwells guides and empowers the believer for victorious living and service, keeps the Church in faith and holiness and convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. 5. Man, Sin and Guilt Man was created in the image and likeness of God, and as such is of infinite worth and dignity, through disobedience falls into sin and incurred physical and spiritual death. 6. Salvation Salvation is only by Gods grace through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, received by faith in Christ; through that faith the believer is justified in Gods sight, adopted into Gods household, born of God and united in Christ. 7. The Church The Church is the called community of believers from all people groups, to proclaim the gospel and make disciples of all nations. The sacraments to be observed are water baptism and Holy Communion. 8. The Ministry The whole church is commissioned to continue and fulfill the mission of the risen Christ, to witness the saving grace of Christ, to serve in the body of Christ the Church. 9. Sanctification and the Power for Service The sanctification of all believers occurs after conversion, empowered by Gods Spirit for holy living. 10. Divine Healing and Health In his mercy, power and sovereign will, God can heal the sick person for his glory; provision is made in the atoning death of Christ for the healing of the body. The anointing with oil and praying for the sick by the elders of the church, as set forth in the fifth chapter of James, is to be practiced. 11. Christian Hope and the Life to Come: God will accomplish his eternal purpose in history and bring all things to their consummation in Christ. In the end, Christ will come again personally and visibly to establish Gods rule over all things, call all believers to eternal life and unbelievers will be judged for their sin and suffer everlasting punishment.
