RECOMENDACIN PARA LOS AUTORES

Quienes enven artculos con destino a publicacin en cualquiera en las revistas de la Universidad de Medelln deben acompaar el artculo con la constancia de que es indito, de su autora y que no ha sido propuesto para publicacin en ningn otro medio, simultneamente. Adems, ceden sus derechos patrimoniales a la Institucin y la autorizan a divulgar tales artculos por cualquier medio, impreso o electrnico, incluida la Internet. Las personas interesadas en presentar un artculo para publicacin en la revista Opinin Jurdica de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Medelln debern acogerse a los siguientes requisitos de forma: 1. Enviar el artculo, en medio magntico, al editor de la revista, Mauricio Bocanument Arbelez, al correo electrnico mbocanument@udem.edu.co 2. Los artculos deben presentarse teniendo en cuenta el siguiente orden: Ttulo del artculo y subttulo, si lo hubiere; en pie de pgina, mencionar el ttulo de la investigacin terminada de la cual el artculo es producto, el nombre del investigador principal, la calidad en la cual particip el autor, institucin que financi la investigacin y ao en el que esta finaliz. Si se trata de investigacin en curso, indicar la fecha de inicio. Nombre del autor o autores completos y, en pie de pgina, la formacin acadmica, vinculacin laboral, grupo y lnea de investigacin a la cual pertenece el autor, direccin electrnica y direccin para correspondencia fsica (es importante, adems, la direccin postal de la institucin a la cual pertenece el autor); esta no se publica, es informacin exclusiva de la revista. Resumen del artculo en mximo 15 lneas, palabras clave y, si es posible, traduccin de ambos al idioma ingls. Introduccin: en esta se debe incluir de manera breve la metodologa utilizada en el desarrollo de la investigacin terminada que permiti obtener los resultados que el artculo presenta. Desarrollo del artculo. Conclusiones. Lista de referencias.

3. La presentacin de los artculos deber cumplir los siguientes requisitos: Papel tamao carta escrito por una sola cara y a espacio y medio. Presentacin en Word. Tipo de letra Arial, tamao 12. La extensin mxima del artculo completo no debe superar 27 pginas. Para la citacin de textos y lista de referencias, deben seguirse las normas de la Asociacin Americana de Psicologa (APA). 4. En texto aparte, un resumen de la hoja de vida, si no tiene vinculacin con la Universidad de Medelln. Procedimiento de seleccin de artculos publicados. Los artculos deben ser enviados al correo electrnico enunciado en el numeral primero.El editor revisar el cumplimiento de los requisitos de forma expresados, y una vez el artculo los cumpla lo remitir al Comit Editorial para el nombramiento de par evaluador. El editor es el encargado de enviar el artculo al par elegido por el Comit Editorial, analizar elconceptode esteyexponerlo ante al Comit Editorial recomendando la decisin. El Comit Editorial tiene en cuenta el concepto del par y del editor para decidir: la publicacin del artculo, regresarlo al autor para modificaciones o rechazo definitivo. La decisin que se tome ser comunicada por el editor de la revista al autor del artculo en el menor tiempo posible, bien sea por correo electrnico o telefnicamente.

RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE AUTHORS

Those persons sending articles to be published on any of Universidad de Medellin journals, should enclose a document certifying that the article has not been published before, that they are the authors, and that their articles have not been proposed for publication on any other media simultaneously. Besides, the authors grant property rights to the institution, authorizing the release of such articles by any medium, either printed or electronic, including the Internet. That people interested in presenting their articles to be published on Universidad de Medellin School of Law Opinin Jurdica Journal, should comply with the following requirements: 1. To send the article on a magnetic media to the Journals publisher, Mr. Mauricio Bocanument Arbelez; e-mail mbocanument@udem.edu.co 2. Articles should be submitted bearing in mind the following order. Title of the article and subtitle, if any. Footnote indicating title of the completed research from which the article was taken; name of the main researcher; authors capacity; institution financing the research; and year when research was completed. Full name of author(s). Footnote indicating academic training, type of employment, research group and line of the author, e-mail, and mailing address (it is also important to include mailing address of the authors institution). The institution mailing address is not released; it will be kept for exclusive use of the Journal only. Abstract of the article (15 lines maximum), key words, and when possible, translation into English. Introduction: Introduction should include a short description of the methodology used for developing the completed research from which results displayed on the article were obtained. Article content. Conclusions. References or bibliography.

3. Presentation of articles should comply with the following requirements: Letter size paper printed on one side only; 1.5 space. Word format. Type of letter: Arial 12. Maximum length of the completed article should not exceed 27 pages. Quoting of texts and list of references should follow APA (Asociacin Americana de Psicologa) standards.

4. In a different document, the author should include a resume, when he/she is not directly related to Universidad de Medellin. Procedure to select published articles. Articles should be sent to the e-mail stated in number 1 above. The publisher will check compliance of already mentioned requirements. If the article complies with all requirements, it will be sent to the Editorial Committee to have a peer appointed. The publisher is the person in charge of sending the article to the peer who has bee chosen by the Editorial Committee, analyzing the peers concept, and exposing it before the Editorial Committee, thus giving his/her authorization. The Editorial Committee bears in mind the concept provided by the appointed peer and the publisher in order to make a final decision to publish the article, to send it to the author for making relevant amendments or to reject it. Decision made will be informed by the Journals publisher to the author as soon as possible, either by e-mail or telephone.
