About our Halloween Schooling Show at curie St Flor Check our Facebook page for updates Halloween Schooling Show at curie St Flor Ribbons Ribbons will be awarded to 3rd place. All participants in lead line, walk/trot, costume, games and doggie short stirrup classes will receive a prize for participation. Dressage Tests& Mini Clinic with Evelyn Orel Evelyn Orel will be administering a mini clinic. She will mark and give feedback on your dressage tests. All registered dressage riders will be given a start time, first come first serve. Times will be posted on Facebook, or as requested via email. How do we ride these courses? All courses and distances will be posted in advance; distances. Each height division will have 3 course options 1 Hunter (a) and 2 Equitation (b,c). The hunter courses will not be judged on specific striding, rather safe decisions that produce a smooth ride. How many times can I ride the course, is there a schooling? The whole day is considered open card so you can ride the same curse over as many times as you wish, as long as you purchase a ticket. 2 refusals and you must leave the ring; if you go off course you must leave the ring as well. The courses are ticketed; tickets are to be purchased from show office. Ribbons will be given out to 3rd place, the others announced. Will all the classes on the tentative schedule be held? A minimum of 3 horses are needed to run a height division. If a minimum of 3 horses are interested in schooling over higher fences, please present your case to the show administrators. If you have a special class request that is not listed, with at least 3 riders who would participate, please let us know before October 11, 2013. We will try our best. All classes are subject to change. Administrative fees Administrative fees are offered at 50% off, if you register by October 11, 2013 ****Games & Doggie Short Stirrup& Costume***** The Doggie short stirrup involves you and your dog together, over a short stirrup course, 6 jumps. For the costume class, come with your best costume for your horse and you, originality and creativity are encouraged! The Games will include an obstacle course race (an up and coming discipline in equestrian sports) you will maneuver your horse through obstacles such as cones, barrels etc. an egg and spaghetti race and everyones favorite, toilet paper race to be played with a partner. Check out this new sport, really fun!
