Provided departmental authorization of material purchases and subcontractor payroll. Maintained positive client relationships and interactions across all projects. Launched all-new partnership growing annual revenue from zero to $9.6M in 4 years. Managed 23 projects of varying size, including a $6.2 M project for 300 occupied units in Florida. Promoted to position. P&L management responsibility for redevelopment and capital construction of multifamily properties (265,000 units) nationwide. Ensured timely and on-budget performance of $550.0M in average annual spending on tax credit and conventional construction projects. Supervised as many as 5 Regional Vice-Presidents overseeing 80 construction professionals across capital improvement, development, redevelopment, and energy initiatives companywide. Recruited, hired, and trained executive staff, including Regional and Senior Vice-Presidents. Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing processes, and training staff within underperforming Regions. Personally supervised and managed distressed, high-visibility projects. Absorbed expanded responsibility for 5 Regions from original 2 Regions (South Central, Midwest Regions). Coordinated $19.0M in emergency repairs within 45 days across 30 properties between Galveston and Houston after Hurricane Ike meeting strict timetable for scheduled close of sale on 85% of properties.
