Eagles FC Kerala announces EAGLES FC KERALA ACADEMY LEAGUE 2013-14

EAGLES FC KERALA is pleased to announce the launch of EAGLES FC KERALA ACADEMY LEAGUE 2013-14 first round matches on Saturday, 28th September 2013 at 7 different venues in Ernakulam District, Kerala. Eagles FC Kerala Academy League 2013-14 is being organized jointly by Eagles FC Kerala and Kerala Football Association across all 14 districts in Kerala on League Basis with participation from 140 football academies from across Kerala. Mr. K M I Mather, President KFA will inaugurate Eagles FC Kerala Academy League at 4:30 pm in Aluva Municipal Stadium Ground on 28th September, 2013. Shri. Anver Sadath, MLA, Shri. M T Jacob, Chairman, Aluva Municipality and Shri. M O John, will be Guests of Honour. The inaugural match will be played between FACT Football Academy and Aluva Football Aacdemy. The Academy Teams have young football players born after 1998 (Under 15 Junior Football Team). The Eagles FC Kerala Academy League 2013-14 is a pilot project of Grass Root Football Development Program of Eagles FC Kerala which will be conducted in all 14 districts of Kerala in the 2013-14 football season. Eagles During the Eagles FC Kerala Academy league 201314, Eagles FC Kerala and KFA will jointly focus on identifying talented potential players for the Eagles FC Kerala Youth Team which will participate in the Junior I - League of AIFF within the next two years. RPMHSS Kumbalam, SH Football Academy, Seven Arrows Sports Club, St. Ritas HS Ponnurunni, Aluva Football Academy, Attuvelil Football Academy Muvattupuzha, Don Bosco Football Academy Vaduthala, Puthiya Kavu Football Academy Tripunithura, Archana Palluruthy Football Academy, Bhagath Soccer FC, KAMFTC Football Academy, Sports Academy Panampilly Nagar, FACT Football Academy & Janaseva Sports Academy from Ernakulam District will compete in the first round of Ernakulam District Leg of Eagles FC Kerala Academy League 2013-14 at the venues at Kumabalam, Maradu, Aluva, Kaloor, Thevara, Vaduthala & Nayarambalam at 4.30 pm on Saturday, 28th September, 2013. Eagles FC Kerala Academy League 2013-14 will be conducted in the model of National I League matches and will be following the rules and regulations of English Premier League. All matches are fixed on 2nd/4th Saturdays and on

public holidays of coming months for the convenience of participating academies, coaches, students and their parents. KFA and Eagles FC Kerala are committed to provide coaching guidelines, playing regulations and codes of behaviour to the Players, Coaches and Volunteers to elevate youth football in Kerala to professional standards both in the recreational and competitive levels said Mr. Anil Kumar, General Secretary, Kerala Football Association. Eagles FC Kerala shall give prize money of Rs. 10000.00 to the winners of the Ernakulam District Leg of Eagles FC Kerala Academy League 2013-14, Coaching and financial assistance for participating in the State Level Eagles FC Kerala Academy League said Mr. Navas Meeran, Chairman, Eastern Group and Director, Eagles FC Kerala. Eagles FC Kerala Academy League State Level winners will get a cash prize of Rs. 1.00 Lac. Eagles FC Kerala Under 15 Team selected from the Eagles FC Kerala Academy League will have the opportunity to tour UAE and UK for friendly matches and the best one three players will get opportunity to train in Reading FC Academy in England during the 2014 Summer Vacation (subject to visa approvals) said Mr. Siddeek Ahmed, Chairman ERAM Group of Companies and Director, Eagles FC Kerala. Football Coaching Experts from India and overseas will give training to the Academy Coaches in the Eagles FC Kerala Academy League 2013-14. Reading FC, England will provide necessary technical assistance to Eagles FC Kerala in this Grass Roots Football Development Program under the MOU between Eagles FC Kerala and Reading FC, England working together to create a strong foundation for the next generation football players from Kerala.
