Lightning Protection Guide

Our Lightning Protection Guide is an indispensable work equipment for lightning protection specialists. It includes procedure documentation, information and lists which the specialist needs for his work. The Lightning Protection Guide shall help to find solutions for lightning protection problems, to design and install lightning protection systems, but also to measure and maintain the external and internal lightning protection system. We shall be pleased to send it to you. Contents: 1. State of the art for installation of lightning protection systems 2. Characteristics of lightning current 3. Designing a lightning protection system 4. Lightning protection system 5. External lightning protection 6. Internal lightning protection 7. Protection of electrical and electronic systems against LEMP 8. Choice, installation and assembly of surge protective devices (SPDs) 9. Application proposals

Application Examples
Our application examples show examplarily effected standard solutions. With basic common characteristics combining individual installations, they show which measures or protective components to take in order to protect the installation sufficiently. By means of examples they show which lightning and surge protective equipment has been used for a building structure for principal protection. Thus, it is no problem for designers to transfer these solutions to present questions. The proposed solutions are so flexible to allow any variations, additions or individual adjustments. This means for the user: The application example helps to design the basic structure of the lightning and surge protection system; the standard performance index describes the individual protective devices.
