• Managed all aspects of a collections and legal department including hiring and firing, scheduling

legal and financial records/statements, interrogatories and similar documents. Drafted
promissory notes, inter-creditor agreements, amendments and addenda to security agreements and
similar documents. Improved department’s collection ratio by over 62%; from 36.65% to 58.77%.
• Increased annual collections from $750,000.00 to $3.3M with no increase in department’s staff.
Significantly reduced cost to collection ratio from 15.45% to 3.9% by creating an in-house
litigation support system and monitoring outside counsels’ billing practices to eliminate inflated
and unnecessary expenses.

• Selected attorneys and firms, reviewed performance of outside counsel and monitored billing
practices to ensure compliance with retainer agreements. Directed outside counsel in all legal
matters. Designated representative to attend depositions, trials, mediated and arbitrated
proceedings and provided testimony at proceedings.
• Supervised Loss Mitigation department; responsible for effecting various loan workout options,
including repayment plans, forbearance plans, modifications, partial claims, pre-foreclosure sales
and deeds-in-lieu.
