The OptiPlex™ GX400 is a powerful corporate desktop designed for high-performance

knowledge-based computing. As business becomes more dependent on multi-tasking,

e-learning, multimedia, and other emerging processor-intensive applications, staying

productive means utilizing high-performance corporate desktops. The OptiPlex™ GX400

delivers cutting-edge, stable performance running the applications of today, and the

power and expandability to perform tomorrow. As well as providing groundbreaking

performance, the GX400 is highly expandable, offering relationship customers

obsolescence protection for their business.

At the core of the GX400’s incredible performance is the Intel® Pentium® 4 processor,

breakthrough technology representing a major redesign of the Intel® x86 processor

architecture. The sheer power of the Pentium® 4 processor comes from Intel’s® ultra

high-performance NetBurst™ micro-architecture. It is complemented by the Intel® 850

chipset and dual-channel Rambus® RDRAM. Add to that a completely redesigned

400MHz System Bus optimized for enhanced Rambus® Memory performance, and

you’ll see why the Pentium® 4 NetBurst™ System micro-architecture is three times

faster than today’s Pentium® III architecture.
