Message from Pastor Reid

Watch and Wait!
The Old Testament Prophet Micah brought a message of both doom and hope he spoke of both the judgment, as well as the deliverance of God. The book that bears Micahs name tells of the things God hates (idolatry, injustice, rebellion), but also speaks of how much God loves the heart that seeks forgiveness. The writings of the prophet reassure God will prevail and through the Messiah, Jesus Christ, the kingdom will reach greater heights! Our hope is certain our resolve is to watch and wait for God to move. Micah 7:7 records, But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. Watching is a call to be attentive to what God is doing waiting is the resolve to remain on Gods timetable! Today as we watch in hope and wait you can be sure God is listening. Your call to Him never falls on deaf ears. Our God yearns for us to call on Him in prayer. The song Sweet Hour of Prayer records: Sweet hour of prayer, sweet hour of prayer, Thy wings shall my petition bear. To Him whose truth and faithfulness, engage the waiting soul to bless. And since He bids me seek His face, believe His Word and trust His grace. Ill cast on Him my every care and wait for Thee, sweet hour of prayer. Keep looking up in hope trust Gods timing know He is always listening!! Gods blessings. Pastor Reid
