License agreement

License
You have a non-exclusive right to use the software. This software can only be used on a single computer. You may physically transfer the software from one computer to another, provided that the software is used on only computer at a time. You may not electronically transfer the software from one computer to another over a network. You may not distribute copies of the software and its documentation to others. You may not modify, reverse engineer or translate the software or the documentation without the prior consent in writing from the publishers Cadem Technologies Pvt. Ltd., hereinafter referred to as CADEM

Backup
You may make one copy of the software solely for the purpose of backup. You must reproduce and include the copyright notice on the backup copy. You may not transfer, sell, or lease the license to another party without prior written consent from CADEM.

Copyright
The software and the documentation contain proprietary information, which is protected by copyright. You may not copy the software or its documentation except for backup purpose and to load the software on a computer as part of executing the software. All other copies of the software and its documentation are in violation of the copyright.

Warranty
The software is provided AS IS without warranty of any kind. The entire risk as to the results and performance of the software is assumed by you. CADEM does not warrant, guarantee or make any representations regarding the use of, or the results of the use of, the software in terms of its correctness, accuracy, reliability, currentness or otherwise and you rely on the software and its results entirely at your own risk. CADEM does warrant to the original licensee that the physical media on which the software is recorded be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 12 months from date of delivery evidenced by a copy of your receipt. CADEMs and its distributors entire liability and your exclusive remedy shall be replacement, or at CADEMs sole discretion, refund of purchase price. If the failure of the media has resulted from abuse, virus or physical damage, then CADEM shall have no responsibility to replace the media under this limited warranty. This the only warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, with regard to the contents of the software and its documentation, its merchantibility, or fitness for a particular use.

Limited liability
In no event shall CADEM or anyone else who has been involved in creation, production or delivery of this software be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages / loss arising out of the use, the results of use, or inability to use the software and its documentation.

Jurisdiction
This license agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India.

Acknowledgments
CADEM acknowledges MS-WINDOWS as registered trademark of their respective owners.

Introduction
SeeNC is a special purpose CNC part program verification software. This software is designed to be used with ISO standard G codes similar to FANUC CNC.

Installation
seeNC Turn is supplied with a hardware security lock that prevents its unauthorized use. The lock should be present on the PC whenever you want to use the software. Every lock has a unique identification number. To install the hardware lock on the PC (Standalone version) Switch off the PC. Locate the parallel port LPT1. This is the port to which you normally connect the printer. Disconnect the printer if it is connected on this port. Insert the hardware lock in LPT1. If you are using any other hardware lock in the port, connect seeNC Turns lock along with it, as shown below. Connect the printer to the free end of the lock. Make sure that the lock is sitting firmly in the port. Switch on the PC.

Installing the software Insert the CD. Run setup.exe.

To install the hardware lock on the PC (Network version) Switch off the PC on which the network hardware lock would be installed. Locate the parallel port LPT1. Installing the software Install seeNC Turn on all the PCs of the network. Insert the CD. Run setup.exe. Install a special driver for the network hardware lock from the folder Dongle-driver on the CD

Getting started
Step 1 : Start a new file Click on save. to start a new file. Enter the NC program in the Program Editor. Click on to

Step 2 : Define blank Click on this to define the shape of the Blank.

Step 3 : Machine selection Click on to select the Machine for which the tool path verification is required.

Step 4 : Checking syntax Click on to run Syntax Check on the program that you have entered. The syntax errors will be displayed in the syntax error message window. Note that the error messages have the block numbers in which the errors are detected. Step 5 : Correcting the errors Go to the program editor and correct the erroneous blocks. Run the syntax check once again. Repeat this procedure until no errors are detected. Step 6 : Assigning a tool Click on for assigning a Tool to the tool number that appears in the NC program. The assigned tool is selected from a pre defined tool database. The shape of the tool assigned here is used to display in the tool path simulation. Step 7 : Tool path simulation

Configuring the tool database


Select Configure from the main menu and click on tool database. The password to enter tool database is cadem. Select a tool library and click on Configure tool library

Double click on a tool class to view the sizes available. Click right mouse button to Add, Modify or Delete a tool.

Configuring the machine data builder


Select Configure from the main menu and click on Machine Data Builder. The password to machine data builder is cadem. Machine data builder stores all the relevant data pertaining to the NC program. The typical data that is stored here is the G codes, M codes, canned cycle formats, program formats etc. During the syntax checking the program is checked with respect to the data stored here.
