Books or Study Material recommended for SSC CGL Tier-2 Exam Overview: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the CGL Tier-1 results last week. Those who qualify in the Tier-I Exam, have to appear for Tier-II Exam. But unlike the UPSC mains, the SSC Tier-II doesnt have the Descriptive Paper. Around 1.13 lakhs people are going to appear in the CGL Tier-2 Exam which is the second stage of SSC CGL 2013. The SSC CGL Tier-2 Exam is tentatively scheduled to be held on 28thand 29th of Sep 2013. Aspirants must keep in mind that CGL Tier-2 level has higher difficulty level than that of CGL Tier-1 Exam. SSC CGL Tier-2 Exam Pattern 2013: SSC CGL Tier-2 Exam will contain multiple choice questions. It will have the following pattern:Subject Quantitative Aptitude English Language Total Marks 200 200 No. of Questions 100 200 Time Duration 2 Hrs 2 Hrs Negative Marking -0.50 -0.25
