Objective This Policy document is prepared with an intention to have a common employee referral program across all processes within FactSet Systems India Pvt. Ltd. (FactSet). This program will be called Refer your Pals. Eligibility All employees of FactSet India are encouraged to submit the CVs of candidates they would personally recommend for employment with the Company. Only certain positions, however, will provide a bonus if filled by a referral and the employee will be eligible to receive the bonus only after the referred employee has met certain tenure requirements (refer to Section on Referral Bonus Criteria). Employees in Human Resources, Associate Directors and above are not eligible to claim the Referral bonus, although they can refer a person against open positions. The stakeholders involved in the process of filling a specific position (hiring managers for the position in question, the reporting chain above them and interview panel members) will not be eligible for a referral bonus for any candidate hired into that position. The employee who refers a candidate will not be allowed to be a part of the interview / selection process for this candidate. Employees referring Engineering/Management Project Interns are not eligible for a Referral Bonus. Project Interns are not employees of the company and are working with us by virtue of their academic requirements.

Freshers, recruited directly from Campuses (Colleges/Universities), even if they are referred by employees will not fall under the ambit of this policy and employees referring freshers from the campuses we visit in the same fiscal year as our visit are not eligible to receive a referral bonus. However, if an employee refers a fresher who is from a different campus (that we did not visit as part of our selected campus for a particular year) and gets selected or refers freshers from the campus we visited in the consecutive fiscal year of our visit, the employees would be eligible for a referral bonus. Employees can refer their family members or relatives and be eligible for the referral bonus. Employees can refer candidates who have worked with FactSet in the past; provided there is a minimum gap of one year for the re-hire cases. In the case of 2 employees or sources referring the same candidate, the recruiter takes a call based on CV received date depending who has referred the candidate first by virtue of mailing the CV to the referral mail box: recruiting_india@factset.com. An employee can reserve the right of claiming the referral bonus for a candidate for a period up to six (6) months from the date the CV is originally submitted. That is, if a referred candidate is not initially offered a position but at a later date the candidate is reconsidered and hired, then the employee can still claim the referral bonus if this happens within the period of six (6) months from the original CV submission date. Following the period of 6 months, if somebody else refers the same candidate, the right to claim referral bonus will be theirs if the candidate gets selected. All the open positions along with the job descriptions will be updated at the FactSet Careers Site. Employees interested in referring candidates for the positions need to mail the resumes of their pals as referrals to the recruiting_india@factset.com. Employees who do not send the resume of a candidate to this e-mail address will not be eligible for a referral bonus should the candidate be hired. The referred candidates resume will be screened and contacted (if the resume meets the screening criteria) by the recruiter. Recruiter will update the resume status to the employees on a bi-weekly basis. A referred candidate can be considered for multiple positions if the candidate meets the qualifications criteria for more than one open position and the candidate expresses an interest in pursuing such. However, the same candidate cannot be interviewed for multiple positions at the same time. The candidate will be processed for only one position at a time and will be processed for other positions he / she has applied to if the candidate does not get selected for the first position. The decision of the recruiting panel (recruiter and the interview panel) shall be final and binding on all the stakeholders in the process with regard to the suitability of the candidate.

Referral Bonus Distribution On successful joining of the referred candidate, the employee (referee) shall be eligible for Referral Bonus, as mentioned below: Position & Level Research Analyst & Senior Research Analyst Process Specialist, Quality Assurance Executive, All Support Professionals Team Lead, Business Analyst & Senior Business Analyst Consultant / Software / Systems Engineer , Senior Software / Systems Engineer, & Assistant Manager Technical Lead, Manager & Senior Manager Associate Director & Above Amount (INR) per successful Referral joining 3000 10000 15000 25000 35000 45000

The Referral Bonus will be paid upon the referral candidate successfully completing six (6) months of employment. Payment will be made in either that month or the following months payroll depending upon how early the anniversary date is in the month. The payment of referral bonus is also subject to the referring employee still being actively employed by the Company at the time of the scheduled distribution of the referral bonus. The referral amount paid to the eligible employees is subject to deduction of Income Tax and other statutory levies applicable, if any. Candidates who have accepted our offer and are yet to join can also refer their friends / relatives and they can claim the referral bonus as per the bonus criteria mentioned above. This is subject to both joining FactSet as scheduled. Disputes All the rights in modifying this policy reside with the recruiting team of FactSet post consultations with the Managing Director, HR Head and the location leaders of all FactSet businesses across India. Any dispute concerning this Policy and / or its implementation shall be raised with the Recruiting Manager. This policy shall be reviewed on an as needed basis and / or on an annual basis whichever falls first. Exceptions On occasion, due to business need, and/or position priority for recruiting, exceptions to the eligibility and benefit limits detailed above may occur.
