-Means Rebirth - Describes the intelectual and economic changes that ocurred during the 14th and 16th century -Black Death=Bubonic Plague -Leonard Davinci came from a small town near Florence -For their strutures they used the shape of a cross as base. -In houses, people adopted a roman style. -Books were written mostly in Latin -Mew Middle Class: Mervhsant, traders, and bankers -Peasants worked for nobles -In 1492, Christopher Columbus discovered the new world -Reading was essential for traders, because like that they could understand the reports of nobles. -In the new world, Spaniard found tomatoes, corn,cholate,silver and gold. -Rennaisance began in Florence -Started the centralized monarchies

How did the plague affected the economy? -The population decreased so mechants and traders didnt have to whom sell their good, so they started to loss in income, and finally they didnt have money even for their needs. Why was trading important? -It was important because there was a n increase in demand of products of other conutries. Also because like that they could now news from another country. Why do you think traders preffered travelling by sea and not by land? -Because some routes by land were not good enough and other were stealed by thiefs, so the safe routes where the ones by sea. Where did Columbus want to go? Why? -Colombus wanted to go to India to get riches and supplies but he got to America.

Other achievments:
-Florence was the center of commerce, trade and wealth. -Humanism, they believed that the church didnt need to ve in all the matters of life but should guide in the spiritual. -Petrarch was one of the 1st humaniste with Martin Luther. -Martin Luther change christianyty. he did a list woth 45 thing that he didnt like fron the curch, some of them were the sell of indulgences, that they want to be in al matters of life, etc.Also that book should be written in native language and not in latin so all peolple can understand.This is how churches agreed with him

and the reformation began. -Circle, to reprent the perfection of god -Monarchy of the pope, he ruled in all spiritual things.
