Ways to prevent AIDS. AIDS is the non-curable disease in this world.

It is rank first disease to be afraid over the world. We often say that AIDS is that, AIDS is this. Nevertheless, do we know what AIDS is about actually? AIDS stands for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. An HIV-positive person receives an AIDS diagnosis after developing one of the CDC-defined AIDS indicator illnesses. An HIV-positive person can also receive an AIDS diagnosis based on certain blood tests (CD4 counts) and may not have experienced any serious illnesses. A positive HIV test does not mean that a person has AIDS. A physician according to the CDC AIDS Case Definition makes a diagnosis of AIDS. Over time, infection with HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) can weaken the immune system to the point that the system has difficulty fighting off certain infections. Some say, avoid is better than cure. There was many ways to prevent AIDS. The first way to prevent AIDS is avoid one-night stand. The individuals participating in a one-night stand typically have not known each other long and have had minimal time to get to know each other before engaging in sexual activity. A one-night sexual encounter is not necessarily always a one-night stand; the crucial distinction is the expectation or intention that the relationship not necessarily be extend beyond the initial sexual encounter. A one-night stand is differentiating from prostitution, as it takes place without direct payment of money and from a casual relationship, which may not initially involve sex. One-night stand or anonymous sex is one of the highest-risk sexual activities; both as the sexual history of both partners are unknown to the other also because those engaging in anonymous sex are more likely to have a large number of partners. Anonymous sex is a form of one-night stand or casual sex between people who have very little or no history with each other, often engaging in sexual activity on the same day of their meeting and usually never seeing each other again afterwards. Anonymous sex can also take the form of prostitution. Never share the needle with other will be the second way to prevent AIDS. People who use injection drugs risk exposure to HIV if they share needles and syringes with others. HIV in the blood residue from an infected person can be transmitting directly into the bloodstream of the next person using the injecting

equipment. Health authorities recommend that people who use illegal drugs seek treatment to help them stop. Those who cannot end their drug use are advice to avoid sharing drug injection equipment with others. Programs that distribute clean needles to injecting drug users have helped to lower the incidence of HIV infection among these people. The other way to prevent is use condom when having intercourse sex. Using latex condoms, correctly and consistently, can greatly reduce a person's chance of acquiring or transmitting HIV. Condoms is synonym with male but do not forget that female also have condom. The female condom, a thin sheath of polyurethane that is place in the vagina, has recently been approve as a birth control method and thought to offer protection against STDs as well. Comprehensive sex education for young people is an essential part of HIV prevention. This should include training in life skills such as negotiating healthy sexual relationships, as well as accurate and explicit information about how to practice safer sex. Studies have shown that this kind of comprehensive sex education is more effective at preventing sexually transmitted infections than education that focuses solely on teaching abstinence until marriage. Since AIDS was first identified in the early 1980s, an unprecedented number of people have been affected by the global AIDS epidemic. Today, there are an estimated 33.4 million people living with HIV and AIDS and each year around two million people die from AIDS related illnesses. A person which infected with this disease should not be abandoned or left aside. They need palliative care and emotional care. We need to support them and never look down upon them. As for the conclusion, we need to prevent this deadly disease. Take a good care of hygiene and have a healthy lifestyle.
