BIRTH OF A NATION There is no such thing as INDEPENDENCE but there was struggle from domination a tyranny and feudalism,

beside the genocide of indigenous peoples and their enslavement along with other beings from other places of the earth. It requires mention to the contradictory moral/ethical historical context due to the same current role in the context of class/caste the author perceives himself to be in.("reality", made through the decisions and actions of the whole of society, whether you choose to see it or deny it through a delusional positivism) The struggle for freedom is an ongoing and progressive act. Not only freedom to, as in to consume or have the ability to do, but also freedom from. Freedom from any obstruction to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that are the supposed principles that the nationalistic ideology of America is built on. The myth and narrative that frames the whole culture of the current Zeitgeist, freedom from domination through domination, freedom from, through freedom to. As I have learned, the means are the ends. The past struggle with it's consequent celebration {"Independence Day"} of that struggle for Independence has become a thinly veiled jingoistic pat on the back for a selfishly directed domination of others through the advantageous hoarding of resources and of the self from others. The stealing of freedom or "INDEPENDENCE" from others or the circumvention of another's right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness through non-cooperation, competitiveness and coerced dependence("coerced" being the keyword) the opposite of what today's celebration is in remembrance of. AN ALTERNATIVE There is an inherent interdependence to everything. The basis for a progressively or even ideal degree of freedom is not the progressively or even ideal degree of dependence or independence but a "justified" "practical" balance or "mutual compromise" founded in our interdependence on each other based on mutual respect, tolerance/humbleness, non-coercion, and a progressive ever expanding understanding of each other as symbiotic yet autonomous beings. The celebration of freedom or "INDEPENDENCE" is one of the freedom to rebel against and freedom from domination/dependence of/on others and/or self, freedom to rebel against and freedom from an independent atomized individualism defined as coercive domination of others through the hoarding of self, and the highest degree of freedom that can be progressively attained through the apprehension and practice of the idea of communion in mutual interdependence not INDEPENDENCE.
