What are the causes of discrimination? There are various reason why discrimination are lead by others. One factor we can consider is that they were taught in a young age to portray themselves as a victim, feel superior or even believe there is nothing wrong with it. There can be crimes or situations that portrayed a different point of view for a whole community be apart of. I understand when my mother was robbed by an African American, she did not trust any of them because of the fear she had went through. She believed that every African American would swindle or harm her, thus can create a lot of friction towards a race based by fear. It is until we have an understanding from one another is until we can relax and unite.
How is discrimination faced by one identity group (race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability) the same as discrimination faced by another? How are they different? When we have discriminaton towards an identity group we often see oppression, I believe that based groups all of them will be treated the same. There are oppressed development, as we can recognize there are the combination of current discrimination with past discrimination created by poor schools and menial jobs. One group will not allow another to succeed and only pull resources for their own dominat group. (Schaefer, 2012, pg. 62). We can look at jobs and how they interview certain identities and prefer white over blacks. There are always going to be preferences and total discriminination will exist in the
