A. Unhealthful nutritional specifically
• The family also takes snacks at least 2-
3 times a day because they own a store
and these may be soft drinks, biscuits,
cheese curls, chippy, or pritong kamote
o saging.
• The family eats three meals a day
consisting mostly of rice and either
meat or fish. Vegetables are eaten
occasionally.
• The two other children are thin and
seem to be small for their age.
• Mr. Santos appears overweight.
• The family feels that their family
income is insufficient to meet their
basic needs.
• Both parents think that one needs to go
to a health center only during illness.
• Mrs. Santos says that she doesn’t have
the time to participate in such meetings
and activities.

• The usual bed time of Mr. and Mrs.
Santos is 12:00 midnight. Because they
close the store at 10 pm then watch TV.
• Mr. And Mrs. Santos sleeps only for
about 4 and a half hour.
• Mrs. Santos sometimes take a nap in
the afternoon when her husband is
around to watch the store but most of
the time she is the one watching the
store so she seldom has afternoon
naps.
