renowned conductor and former music director of the Detroit Symphony Günther Herbig will be the
guest conductor of the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra for two performances on Tuesday, July 28 and
Thursday, July 30.
On Tuesday, July 28, he will lead the orchestra in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Don Giovanni, K.527:
Overture; Concerto for Flute and Harp K.299 in C Major; and Symphony No. 36, K.425 in C Major
