We have pleasure in sending you Bulletin 3 for the World Schools Championship GOLF 2013 which will take place under the aegis of the ISF from Sunday 27th October till Friday 1st November 2013 in Genk, Belgium. The Stichting Vlaamse Schoolsport (Flemish School sport Foundation) and the Vlaamse Vereniging voor Golf (Golf Union of Flanders) will organise the championship according to the International School Sport Federation competition rules. This bulletin contains further information to that published in bulletins 1 and 2 (see ISF website www.isfsports.org).

1. Participation and composition of groups.

The draw will take place after registration 3 is closed.


Participating countries will be Belgium Flanders, Chile, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, PR China and Scotland. 2. International Get-together (Nations Night) Delegations are required to take part in an evening International Get-together organised with the aim of encouraging exchanges between the different cultures of participating countries. The young people are invited to introduce and to promote their countries and their culture in an original way. Each delegation is to organise a stand at the Tourist Fair on the theme Suppose you came to spend your holidays in my country. This presentation may be made in the form of leaflets, video, CD, photos or other original ideas, for example by offering a taste of typical culinary specialities (dishes, non-alcoholic drinks, ). On addition each delegation may, if they wish, introduce a facet of its countrys culture on stage (the stage is yours dance, songs, sketches ) maximum 4 minutes. Countries with a presentation on stage have to inform the OC in advance and must present the music to be used on CD or USB, as well as countries presenting a film.

4. Board, Lodging and Services. 4.1. All the students with their coaches, the Heads of Delegation, the additional adults and the ISF representatives will be accommodated in Sporthotel Kattevenia BLOSO Centre, Genk. (www.bloso.be/Centra/Genk) 4.2. All meals will be taken at BLOSO Centre Genk, except for the packed lunches. 4.3. The price of an additional meal on the arrival or departure day will be 22.

4.4. The competition will take place at the SPIEGELVEN Golf Club (www.spiegelven.be). 4.5. The opening ceremony will take place at the EUROPLANETARIUM Genk. The closing ceremony will take place at BLOSO Centre Genk. 4.6. A medical service will be available throughout the duration of the Championship. 4.7. Internet is available in public WIFI areas. 5. Finances and Insurance. 5.1. The fees payable per person and per night amount to 44 EUR in accordance with current ISF regulations. The amount due per person is 220 EUR, less the amount of the deposit previously paid. 5.2. The Organising Committee prefers that the balance of the sum due be paid in EUR into the ORGANISERS BANK ACCOUNT by 20th September 2013 at the latest: Bank name: Belfius Bank NV Bank address : Pachecolaan 44, 1000 Brussel BIC code: GKCCBEBB IBAN number: BE22 0682 2096 8047 Payee: Stichting Vlaamse Schoolsport, Leopold II laan 184 D, 1080 Brussel Reference: ISF Golf 2013 + name of the participating country All bank charges are the responsibility of the delegations. Only in exceptional cases the balance of the sum shall be paid in cash (EUR) by the Head of Delegation on arrival. Payment by bank and /or credit cards will not be accepted. 5.3 The OC can accommodate each person above the authorised quota with his/her delegation at the daily rate of 88 per person. 5.4. Each member of the delegation must pay an ISF levy of 30 EUR in accordance with current ISF regulations. This sum is to be paid to the Organising Committee before the start of the competition. Cash on arrival or preferably by bank transfer beforehand. 6. Technical information. 6.1 General conditions The organization of the Championship will be the responsibility of the Vlaamse Vereniging voor Golf (VVG). Everything concerning the competition (starting list, rules, scorecards, etc.) will be handled by the staff of the VVG. The Championship shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by R&A Rules Limited and with Local Rules as approved by the Tournament Committee (TC = VVG). All disputes shall be settled by the Tournament Committee whose decision will be final. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to fix and/or alter the Tournament Conditions and/or Starting Times.

6.2 Conditions of entry The ISF Golf World School Championship is open for all Amateur players who are registered by ISF. Member of a club affiliated to a foreign golf association which is recognized by the RBGF & VVG. Each team consists of 2 players (2 boys or 2 girls) with cumulative EGA HCP of 36,0 Aged: born in 1996 / 1997 / 1998 / 1999

6.3 Conditions of play Friendly Competition: Practise Round Monday Competition: (2 categories) Tuesday: Competition day 1 Thursday: Competition day 2 Cat 1 = School Team Boys & Girls - Cat 2 = Selection Team Boys & Girls Format: 4BBB stableford 18 holes per day (NO CUT) Starting list & Results There will be an advalvas at the clubhouse, go and see it on regular basis. After each round, bring the scorecards to the recording area (clubhouse). Suspension of Play Due to a dangerous situation. The specimen condition in the Rules of Golf will be in effect. The signals shall be: Discontinue Play Immediately: one prolonged note of siren, Discontinue Play: three short consecutive notes of Siren, Resume Play: two short consecutive notes of siren, repeated. Caddy Allowed under the age of 18 Public Allowed, no talking to the players Stay in the rough

6.4 Prizes - Cat 1 = School Team Boys & Girls o 1st, 2nd and 3rd Net Boys & Girls o Team with the best NET Stableford score is the winner. o In case of a tie at the end net. The team with the best brut/net score in the second round wins If then theres a tie, The TC will look to the last 9-6-3-1 score to decide who the winner is. If then theres a tie, TC will look to the team with the lowest cumulative EGA HCP If then theres a tie, fate will decide

- Cat 2 = Selection Team Boys & Girls o 1st Brut Boys & Girls o Team with the best BRUT Stableford score is the winner. o In case of a tie at the end net. The team with the best brut score in the second round wins If then theres a tie, The TC will look to the last 9-6-3-1 score to decide who the winner is. Communication. All further information and each days results along with important information from the OC will be published in the daily bulletins of the organisers and on the ISF website www.isfsports.org and the organisers website www.schoolsport.be/page.aspx?ID=682 The Heads of Delegation will have the possibility to download information with an USB stick. 8. Control Commission. 8.1. In accordance with General Competition Rules the Organising Committee will designate a Control Commission composed of: the observer representing the ISF Executive Committee 1 representative of SVS 1 representative of VVG 8.2. At accreditation, the Head of Delegation must settle the balance to be paid including any bank charges and will present the following documents to the Control Commission : proof of payment of the balance including any bank charges, the passport (or identity card) of every player bearing family name, first name, photograph, nationality and date of birth, a letter from the school confirming that all players are full time students at the school, since the beginning of the school year. When checking is complete, each participant will receive an accreditation card which allow him/her access to the competition, activities and meals. 9. Disciplinary Commission. 9.1. In accordance with the ISF General Competition Rules, the Disciplinary Commission will be composed of : - the observer representing the ISF Executive Committee - a representative of the Tournament Committee (VVG Vlaamse Vereniging voor Golf) - the president of the Organising Committee The Disciplinary Commission will deal with all matters relating to discipline arising during the championship competition and also during the period of the Championship where the matters are not covered by technical regulations.

9.2. The Disciplinary Commissions decisions are final. They are passed on to the Executive Committee. 9.3. It should be noted that where there is a sufficiently serious lack of respect for ISF rules the Disciplinary Commission could disqualify participants, teams or delegations from the competition and to require them to return home before the conclusion of the event. 10. Appeal Jury. 10.1. In accordance with the ISF General Competition Rules; the Appeal Jury will composed of: - a representative of the Tournament Committee (VVG Vlaamse Vereniging voor Golf) - a representative of the Organising Committee - the referee 10.2. The Appeal Jury will decide on all appeals concerning the results of the competition in the light of the rules of IF Golf and the competition rules of the ISF. 10.3. The Appeal Jury will not pronounce on disciplinary matters. 10.4. Appeal Jury decisions are final and may not be appealed. 11. Appeals. 11.1. Appeals against results or any other appeal not concerning disciplinary matters will be heard by the Appeal Jury. 11.2. The appeal must be lodged within 30 minutes of the incident and be in writing in English, French or German. 11.3. The sum of 75 EUR must accompany the appeal. This sum will be refunded only if the appeal is upheld or at the discretion of the Appeal Jury. 12. Obligations undertaken by delegations. 12.1. Each participant is required to be present throughout the duration of the event. 12.2. Each participant is obliged to take part in all of the non-sport activities. 12.3. Each team undertakes to compete against all other participating teams. 12.4. Each participant undertakes to compete against all other participants. 12.5. The absence of any member of a participating team from any part of the entire sport programme, opening-, prize-giving-, and closing ceremonies and socio-cultural programme may result in the disqualification of that team. 13. 14. Registration. The ELECTRONIC ENTRY REGISTRATION FORM 3 should be duly completed on behalf of the Organisation responsible for school sport at the latest by 20th September 2013. Registration through ISFs new ERAS (Electronic Registration and Accreditation System) will be open from 15th July 2013 via the ISF website www.isfsports.org. To get access to the registration, you will have to fill in username and password which will be sent by separate e-mail together with some more detailed information for registration.
