Abstract: My group and I investigated the types of water from different homes and what effects it does to the seeds. The questions that was given was How does location affect the quality of water and life in your community? We all thought to get different waters. We thought to get the water from our house. One was from Lawndale, the second one Inglewood and the third one Hawthorne just to see the changes of the lima beans. The independent variable which is the change of the experiment. This would be the water from different homes. The dependent variable is the results of the experiment. This would me the height of the plant. There were some things that we need for the experiment: 1. Water 2. Lima beans 3. Ziploc bags 4. Tape 5. Paper towels Introduction: My group and I had to observe the experiment and take data and see what is making the seeds grow faster. What were makes it grows faster does not mean that is the best water and everyone should have it. It means it is one of the waters that are really good. The three bags had one paper towel, 10 lima beans in each bag. The bag had a name from each of the cities the water came from. We poured 10ml in the bag.
