Should you be elected, what are three specific areas youd like to change, address, improve or further research,
and how specifically would you go about it?:
1) Promote Home Ownership & Support Property Values- For many, their home will be the biggest investment they ever make, and

I believe local government has a duty to protect that investment. Also, home ownership lays the foundation for stable and supportive
____________________________________________________________________________________
neighborhoods. While housing is very affordable in Euclid, too many sit vacant and in poor condition. We must explore and implement

strategies that both encourage home ownership and attract residents from outside our borders. Simultaneously,
____________________________________________________________________________________
we must expand the city's efforts to shrink the excess supply of dilapidated structures that are a blight on our community. I will also
____________________________________________________________________________________
work
to ensure that our police and emergency services are properly staffed and equipped to carry out their vital tasks. Finally, I would
___________________________________________________________________________________
stress "quality of life issues". There is no reason our residents should have to tolerate the growing problems surrounding
___________________________________________________________________________________
nuisance
activities such as loitering, littering and lewd behavior. My goal is to once again make Euclid a city of choice that
___________________________________________________________________________________
attracts young professionals and families. 2) Economic Development- As residents, we all know that combined taxes in Euclid are
___________________________________________________________________________________
high, and I would strongly oppose any attempt to raise this burden, but I also recognize that city services cost money. Because
____________________________________________________________________________________
of this, we must broaden our tax base through economic development. A first step would be to review our ordinances and better
____________________________________________________________________________________
understand how they can be more business friendly. We must also nurture and expand upon our existing business relationships while
____________________________________________________________________________________
working to better market Euclid as a city that is "Open for Business". One possibility would be to forge ties with those non-profits and
____________________________________________________________________________________
business incubators whose core focus is economic development in North East Ohio. I have spent over a decade building relationships
____________________________________________________________________________________
with Cleveland's business community and feel that I can be an effective ambassador for our city. Lastly, it's imperative that we
____________________________________________________________________________________
improve the look of both 200th and 185th Street ( both are in Ward 4). These are high traffic areas and are often non-residents' first
____________________________________________________________________________________
impression of Euclid. 3) Accountability & Service- As we move forward, it's crucial that we work together to rekindle our sense of
____________________________________________________________________________________
community, and I believe this should start with your local council person. As Ward 4's representative, I pledge to do my level best to
____________________________________________________________________________________
be available to discuss with residents their views and concerns. I will then work to be an effective advocate for the ward on the issues
____________________________________________________________________________________
that matter most. It is important to me to be accountable to the people I represent.

lived nearly my entire life in the Euclid area, and my family and I are deeply committed to the community. I've decided to enter this

because I believe that the decisions local government makes during these next few years will be critical, and that their impact will

felt for decades. There have been several positive developments, but we must maintain this momentum, and not allow

personal politics stand in the way of further progress. I've dedicated my professional life to the study and successful

of financial, economic and investment analysis, and believe that this professional experience makes me uniquely
